The SBO/Tougeki 2010 Thread

There has been a lot of hush around the arcades lately, and not as much efforts put into Danisen participation by the top players. It’s because they are match making the teams for the SBO tournament, everyone is hoping to form the best team and win what is possibly the last SFIII in SBO.

It is said that K.O has hit up Kuroda to possibly form a dream team in a last effort to finally win this year. Hopefully MOV will make the third member of the team.

Teams:

**Kuroda (HU), MOV (CH), [K.O ???]

RX (UR), Roshihikari (YA), [???]

Aiku (DU), Matsuken (KE), Furo (YA)

Higa (IB), Nitto (YU), Raoh (CH)

Vanao (RY), Yakkun (YU), Uraken (GO)

Tsumoon (RE), RED (IB), S (Yun)

Kamiide (YU), Matano (DU), Shoutarou (KE)**

Qualified Teams:

[None]

=’(

last 3s SBO? I’ll miss it.

and lol at K.O. hitting up with Kuroda. I hope that guy finally wins with Kuroda/MOV

KO with Kuroda…

…battle of “Who will get to go first for the OCV up to Top 4”

roshi who you teaming with?

RX and Vanao.

^ solid

aiku matsuken and furo win the first qual at club sega akihabara.
mov, kuroda (hugo) lose to furo. pretty sure mimora was on the team too but wasnt even there, he is just signed up with kuroda, mov.

Thanks, however, things have changed somewhat now because…
Vanao decided to join up with Yakkun and Uraken.
Very solid team, they even managed to beat Team Kuroda yesterday.

Other prominent teams were

  • Matsuken (KE), Aiku (DU), Furo (YA).
  • Nitto (YU), Higa (IB), Raoh (CH)

Boss is trying to steal K.O to his team.
That’s right. Kuroda is planning to win SBO with Hugo this year.

kuroda is a dick

Vanao you bitch, team up with RX and Yamazaki and win this shit. Seriously though, there are so many people I wanted to win SBO it would take at least 3 years for them all to have a shot at it. Does Yamazaki even still play? What about Moto and Messatsu? Ok, this isn’t the right thread to ask this, sorry :frowning:

Tell RX his friends in Brazil are rooting A LOT for him whoever he teams up with

Go Matsuken!

The best Ken out there at the moment.

What happened to Deshiken? He doesnt care about SBO anymore or 3s?

Apparently Deshiken has a team for this year’s SBO Quals. He’s most likely going to the Fukuoka qualifier on the 23rd of this month.

I already mentioned this in the vid thread, but I’ll be going as well. I’m most likely gonna team with helgenx and a friend of his. Hopefully we can beat at least one team, haha.

kuroda using hugo… he has a lot of guts.
well good luck on that for him.

I’d rather watch Kuroda play Q or Urien but hey…it’s Kuroda…it’s bound to be insane and amazing no matter what.

The first post has been updated with the list of teams.

i can see KO on Boss’ team this year with Rikimaru (got a feeling boss and rikimaru will team up again)

MOV told me that Nuki already has a team of him, Yakkun, and i believe Akahori (hugo) but who knows whats gonna happen

it seems like most of the strongest players who qualifier early are just testing the waters…there are 16 spots so i guess they’ll try anything to qualify

Cant WAIT to see what the 16 spots will down to

best d*** in the world. no homo

hugo is just too weak to match up to yun, chun, makoto IMO.
even if its kuroda, im gonna doubt him on this. wished he used Q, Akuma, or Ryu instead.

We’re not listening to everything our Roshi says, are we?
