its probably even worse with the new 360 slims since the shut down when they are close to a red ring. its a decent system in terms of games but its hardware is buggy. i would still rather have a 360 over ps3 because of the games i personally like that are console exclusives.
ps
FINALLY got a keychain, also i need to get a new plexi lol

Hey everyone, kind of new to SRK and new to playing anyone locally. Are there any regulars spots to play at here or is it a lot of day-of stuff? Either way I’m free most days and am trying to start playing against local players. I’ve been lurking here for awhile and never thought to check and see if there was anything going on in Sacramento but it’s good to know there is.
Perhaps I’ll try to come out to the next local tourney. I’ve been meaning to get back into the scene.
EVO Uses PS3’s because Sony is a sponsor.
Welcome to the Sacramento community. :wonder:
Also
That just shows Evo’s now only Capcom. You greedy, ignorant motherf***ers!!(saying it to EVO staff) Not even a side tourney now?:crybaby:
Hey Romeo, are you still able to help me with my Xbox 360 arcade stick?
i just wanna take the time to say that is some nice art you got on that stick

im sorry but Wtf is the deal with that Havoc/T-shirt tournament. When is it? What is the official entry fee? Who is hosting and supplying equipment?
looks like a $40 tee is the entry fee? havoc is a clothing store downtown aaaaaaaaaaaaaand thats all i know. im not even sure i cant find any info either
Welcome to SRK. Check this thread for any Sacramento meetups - get yourself out there and meet people. That’ll open some doors for you in regards to getting invited to sessions, etc. I’ve kind of been on a weird schedule due to school and Evo, but usually I run SSFIV biweeklies in Elk Grove at The City Coffeehouse near Laguna Blvd/Big Horn Blvd. I usually post a week/few days in advance about it here, so you’ll know about it. As ESCOBEN said, Hot Shots is this Friday - come out if you can. And again, welcome.
Please do, some new blood would be nice!
It’s the button issue, right? Are you able to make it to the next City (probably next week, or week after that)? I can take a look at it there.
Entry fee is cost of a T. I’ve been told by a friend of the owner that sign up basically ends before Saturday (vague, I know), but she isn’t sure . I say if you like the shirt, just pick it up… $40 for a tournament where the details aren’t even fleshed out yet is a bit sketchy. Besides, there’s Hot Shots this Friday, so… anyway, if you were gonna get a shirt anyway, might as well get it from Havoc and try to enter the tournament. I’m personally holding off until I can get more details, so…
Thanks for keeping Sacramento informed, Rob.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I’ll definitely try and get over to Hot Shots this Friday.
That also sounds cool, convenient too since I live down the street from there. I don’t have a PS3 stick so that might be an issue but I’ll work that out.
GG’s to lilsic, Joon, and Destructive(?). This is Miky (the Ryu player that did MM’s with you guys).
im sure someone will let you borrow there stick for the match
Any way I can get to Hot Shots and The City via Regional Transit? I’ll be there just to see what’s up, not planning to join in the tourney.
I would find any information on this quite helpful. But I found out the hardway that RT does not run as late as it used to and Hot Shots tournies start later in the day.
what area do you guys live?
Rosemont, right by Folsom and Watt
hmm i dont know anyone that leaves near there. i was thinking if you lived near my friends they could give you a ride or something
Shite. I don’t mind shelling out rides, no matter where you live, cause I’d rather give out rides and have some more people come.
