Yeah I have never seen a Final get pulled off or even attempted in an actual match. The highest TAP before this vid that I have seen that landed was a 6 in ST, saw it in a tournament match vid with one of the Wolfe brothers. Highest TAP I have personally seen was also a 6 in ST but was blocked so the wow factor was nullified.

Sanford and Yipes attendance to AB has been confirmed by TFGM. I’m surprised by this being that SoCal Regionals has a $10,000 prize pool for SSF4. Don’t matter though it’s always good to get some bigger named out of state comp in tx.

They just showed new TekkenTagTournament2 footage, at MLG Dallas. Live premiere, with a Q&A session. I watched it on the stream. Harada made it clear that they are just toying with stuff and ideas… so don’t take the footage as “100%”… but it was still lolz.

Fro… MLG Dallas is so lolz. Kor is raging out again. He did his classic rage out like normal, and then just now, took it to a new level. It was two rounds (Kor), to one round (Fab). Time was running out, and Fab made a ridiculous play in the last second. Tied it up two rounds to two rounds. Kor jumped up, raged out, and slammed his hands down on the table. Game wasn’t even over, still one round left. He didn’t give a fuck, he was going Super Saiyan. Slammed the table pretty hard, disconencted Fab’s controller. lol For some reason, the judges didn’t give Fab the round, they made them play the last round over.

EDIT: Wow… Namco added to MLG prize pot. On top of the 1st place $12,500 prize… 1st place also will receive a Tekken6:BR cabinet as well as a trip for 4 to Japan.(plus, a visit to Namco Studios Jpn while there)

What a load of crap. That should have been an instant DQ for messing with the opponent’s controller even if it was accident. So Kor fucking up Fabs connection warranted an automatic redo or something? Did Fab say it was ok or something and thats why the replayed the round?

Also thats a sweet first place prize.
