I agree with teams for everything, even though i have no one to team with in 3s
i might run cvs2 2v2 pokemon style if phils cool with it
double elimination, 1 game. would take the same time to run as a regular 2 out of 3 singles tourney
Here’s what I’m thinking:
Doors open at 12pm, short time for setup.
Casuals until 2:30pm.
Tourney signups start at 1:30pm for OFFICIAL games. This means MvC2, ST, 3s, CvS2, Guilty Gear, and Melty Blood SINGLES (unless you end up doing GG teams instead). Also for Tekken/VF5 but I’m not involved with those.
Tourney signups end at 2:30pm. Brackets are made and all official tournaments start at 3pm.
After some singles events begin to end (which I foresee to be around 7pm) we can see how much time/resources we have left to do teams. I think that teams should be RANDOM to avoid ridiculously powered teams. However this is certainly open for debate.
So what does everyone think? Give feedback and I’ll post an update on the first page.

I’ve got GG teams and singles covered. Pretty sure teams won’t take too long, what with only 6 teams at the moment.
And GG Singles will start at 5pm, unless people mind?
GG usually runs faster, but depending on turnout starting that late might cause a problem with teams running too late if you only have one TV.
Scedule looks fine to me, although ending at 7 may be a bit of a stretch for some games.
