Bungie’s got a list of some of the changes the cheatfix Monday is going to incorporate to weapon tweaks. Apparently now the magnum is going to do less damage to make it less powerful in dual wields and to emphasize accuracy(with the 1 hit kill headshot), grenades are going to do Halo 1 type damage, melees are going to do Halo 1 type damage, and the SMG/Plasma Rifle combo is going to be weakened. The Brute Shot is also getting upgraded due to the fact that it’s got a huge ass sword on the end of it, and that grenades are now more powerful. And here was me, usin that thing voluntarily back when it sucked…
They’re also planning on resetting everyone’s levels to fuck over cheaters, but that’s not for a few weeks. Says Bungie, they’re changing the system how you level up slightly, so that people level up faster and are more spread out, instead of clumping together between level 10-14. Unless you’re Dave, in which case you’re some sort of monster.
