I wrote this giant response to your “fag” response to mine, but it sounded a little too mean (ZOMG EVEN FOR ME) so I’ll just tell you this:
Find someplace new to host this tourney. I don’t know how you do things out there in Platinum Heights, but I don’t see many people from this area wanting to drive all the way out there and drop $20 on top of that to play a couple rounds of Guilty Gear or Smash Brothers. If you’re having such a problem with these LAN center guys being dickfaces, take your and your tournament’s money elsewhere.
And this is coming from a woman who more then likely never held a tournament in her life other than (who can go the longest without cumming inside me) or (which one of you men can let me ride you like a mechanical BULL).
That was kind of mean there little lady, the man is trying to hold a get together and build a little prestige to his arcade (provided it is his arcade and/or he works there). Let the dude have fun, must you all shot down a newbe? Damn.
Then you obviously do not know a god damn thing, or you have the memory of a 70 year old. People from around here drove out to pinball fucking pets just to play the games there, it was 10 dollars and was only on ONE GAME, on a related note people drove out to CHICAGO to a joint where they held a tournament on GGX, CVS2, and MVC2.

Calling someone a “fag” is not the best way to show you want to do business.
Its just not a good show of faith, you know? Try a different approach and maybe it will work out, or maybe not, but what do you have to lose? Just try to avoid the name calling and slander, it kind of shows you are not willing to attract customers.

Yes, because A)Pinball Petes is large, has fairly decent machines, and other stuff to do. Chicago is a nationals tournament, and a good place to see many different play styles, AND has plenty to do outside of the tourneys.
This is a LAN gaming center. It’s a console tourney, and not only that, you have to pay 5 bucks to get in, and if you don’t come in first, you get jack shit. And the whole thing about the tourneys not going on if there’s not enough people, that’s no good either. He needs to find himself a better place to hold a tourney if he wants it to be taken seriously, since it’s clear the rules of this place aren’t going to allow it, and that’s the bottom line.

Call me nuts, but was not the HUGE turrny in cally going to be console? i think i did hear something about it being that. maybe i am wrong but wouldnt it be better if it was a console? this way NOONE can say a thing about the sticks are bad. wouldnt it be nice if all the games were like tekken 5, you put a joystick in and play away.

look, do not take it personal, i know as well as everyone else that it is not an easy thing to hold a turrny, i am a so called “newbe” at it, even though i have held a few in CVS2, MVS, yes i said MVS, do your homework, lol. still, try hard, and good luck, if push comes to shove you could always try to hold it here, or speak to P-pets.
Evo was on console last year, and although most people who went didn’t like it, it’s staying that way since a tourney on their scale just makes it easier. Sides, Evo is also the biggest tournament in the country, so most people just went with it.
Heh yeah this is way harder to organize than I thought it would be, I’ve made minor mistakes so far but still trying my best to make a good tourny and please everyone. Not enough happening in Michigan since we dont have any arcades so hopefully this will get some new players into the games and such.
Good luck on your tourney…I’ve been up there salmon/trout fishing (you did say Port Huron right?) in Port Sanilac…but I won’t make your tourney either.
I hate to say it but energy drinks are the strangest prize I’ve ever heard of in a tournament. :xeye:

John: there’s a free DL of that region free program on fengtao’s site, and astakiller will have a working key for it; I just checked them out and it worked fine for me.
