How about you respect people who don’t celebrate your religion’s holidays by either adding a qualifier congratulating those who are members of your religion on its holiday, or just not announcing it at all.

Thats what I was trying to explain to someone else earlier today, eggs, baby chicks, rabbits, etc. are all paganistic symbols of fertility…used to promote sexuality. Big ups to cheese_master and TKK on that tournament. Since that has been the 2nd tournament I’ve entered it was a little surprising to me going against cheese in CvS2 for the first match of the tournament…I’ll stop in A2 again very soon with WSU (perhaps). And speaking of WSU, TKK I’ll be up there tomorrow. Sorry I couldn’t make it to T’s house (my training regiman just began today) but perhaps this weekend. I’m out.

Indeed. I know a jewish chick, and she told me all about their religion. Apparently they are all about fucking. They also don’t give a shit about an afterlife, other than that it isn’t jew-exclusive. There was some other stuff too…basically it’s all the things that you expected christianity to have been, before the romans started fucking with it, and all the other outside influences got into it. The idea of heaven and hell, for example, came from the existed middle eastern religions at the time-it just spread into Christianity. I don’t have any actual data in front of me to back it up, but I’m guessing it was incorporated to help get converts in the region-similar to how christmas was used to get pagans in europe to convert.

We’re trying to pick a solid date to run a tournament in Canton on consoles. Gameplay will be on a)xBox, or b)Dreamcast if we can get a hold of a DC and two comparable sticks for it.
