I need a part time job, so I can pay my bills. What’s the best hours to work while going to school? I want to make sure I can swing work and school. School is more important to me, but I can’t expect my people to pay my bills until I’d graduate and find work. Gotta do my part to care for myself.
it really depends on you. some only work weekends…some work mornings some just nights. i dunno how your state works but sundays at malls in mass is time and a half in most retail stores.
I’m so not a morning person,I think night work would work best for me. Like 2 weekdays and the weekend. I don’t want to get into something where when I get in school I can’t keep my grades right.
id recommend 3x and weekend. mon wen fri+weekend. i find those spots are usually free for work cause no one wants to work a monday…nor fridays. look for mall jobs, they generally are respectful of college student schedules.
make sure your hours are firm and in place so that they dont fuck wit you and schedule you at some time you didnt think they could. ex. open to close dont ever write that. some stores could think open to close means 10am-10pm, but other stores might consider that when people get into the fuckin store to clean up and fold or sumtin. like during holidays this is really important cause sumtimes they may stay extra late to clean up and could hold you anywhere from 11pm-1am(brookstones fucked wit me on this.)
also check what the requirements are for how many hours a week. cause doin 2x and weekend may not meet their requirements for how many hours they require.

Applied for overnight stocking at walmart earlier, part time. Hope to get call. I need a check coming in every two weeks. Got bills and needs. Need to start saving up to tune that car that’s sitting in my dads yard. It runs, just needs a battery, tires and a tune up. I’ll take it to a shop and get a full look over to see if anything else is wrong, and an oil change of course.
