Uggs had a revival with Paris Hilton and that whole crowd. When I was in Highschool in the late 80s, dudes did wear them. It was the the White guys though, surfers and when they went snow skiing. They would wear them to school too after they came back from surfing before school. This is Norcal, don’t know about the rest of the nation.

Yeah, just like Vans. In California they have been rocked since the early 80s hard, but not in the Urban areas. Now of course they are national and every scene can wear them. Only skaters wore them in the 80s. I was only the only Black guy I knew that had them, and I only had them because my friends had them and we skated. My cousins used to tease me about wearing them. Black & Red with Skulls & Crossbones. Cringe worthy!

No, not out here in California. Even niggas didn’t wear them unless they were repping East Coast. I have some friends from Pennsylvania that always wore them, but out here is was mainly Nike boots or Hi-tek.

I’m not going to intrude on him for 6+ months, and he’s too far from where I work. My other option was in Apex and that would have been too much in gas. The trailer I am moving into is about a football field from where I work…so I don’t have to drive during the week. It was also the cheapest I could find AND I don’t have roommates. Hell I have an oven and 4 gas burners…my extended stay only had 2 electrical swirl things for cooking. Doin it BIG! DirectTV hook-up on Monday, I might have to run internet myself though…not sure yet. Might be better to not have internet thinking on it, to help me focus on my goals/task. I’ve gone thru a fulll video game detox over the past two months. I barely twitch withoutplaying stuff. Granted my iPhone gets a couple hours of time a day if I add it all up…
