It depends ENTIRELY on the contect of what they are doing. You can’t have them doing stuff that contrdicts what they were about. I’m not sure if Pac would have walked or not, he was physical and showed off ‘gang life’ a little. If they had Nas performing with Pac…then THAT would have been an issue. I’m ‘meh’ about Dre, but I admit that Dre was there up to close to the end…hell California Love WAS Dre’s song. I don’t feel they did aything disrespectful in this, there were no mannerisms that didn’t line up with a possible reimagination of Pac. Disrespectful to the dead is raiding tombs in Egypt that shit pisses me off.

I feel bad, the review for NORE’s ‘street album’ is pretty forgetable (averaging 3 mics), but I really like it shrug…

AHH finally got around to reviewing the DJ Premier and Bump Knuckles album. I’m a huge fan of Bumpy…but it isn’t a 4 mic album…more like 3-3.5 - way to forgetable - and I actually blame Premier…he just didn’t ‘bring it’ IMO. Its there in flashes, but not consistent. I still want to hop o na track with Bumpy though…his Militia verse is a all time fav for me. “Even mechanics walk around with there tools”…

They’re Jedi’s , chances are he knew that was his farther through the force, I was a huge star wars geek. To sum up star wars it’s about an evil empire trying to take over the universe. Ep 1-3 was a clusterfuck, but I like them none the less. I seen episode 1 twice, once at the regular movie and then again at the dollar theater(R.I.P.) .
