I’m late on the mac/pc talk. The first thing you need to do is figure out what your needs for the laptop are. Then, you go about deciding on which of the two you want. It’s more of a preference than anything, but a lot of people use macs for image/design work (comes with Apple tax tho).
If you end up with a mac, get windows 7 and you’ll be able to use the Mac OS as Well as Windows, and that is the best of both worlds.
Apples OS is just so much user friendly than Windows…
people always say “If you know how to use the Windows OS then you can do everything a Mac can!”
i still havent figured out how the hell to find out what my IP address is on a Windows. On a Mac, I can give it to someone who has moderate comp knowledge and they’d be able to find it (System preferences -> Network -> Voila).
So yeah you can do the same things on a Windows, but its unnecessarily more difficult. When im on a computer, I dont want to waste time trying to figure out how to DO things. I want efficiency.
Mac OS is like walking straight through a door.
Windows OS is like having to walk through a maze to get through that door.
