You guys are right, the majority of the top players rate quit or at least have done. At the start of there was a rush to get to the top of the leaderboards. And it was easy for most of the players at the top to do so because the game just came out, and everyone was still learning, but now people from the lower ranks are catching up and learning the match ups and most of them cant take getting a loss due to their false superiority complex.

It’s absurd. You should never have a ranking system in a game where it doesn’t address this. WTH was Capcom thinking. It’s gotten so bad that if I play a ragequitter and run into them again I just close the game at the versus screen when I see their username. Nothing worse than beating one and getting no points only for them to squeeze a win and steal a lot of points. Not to mention I don’t even get the win so I can’t get my yellow title and quit ranked.
You know it’s bad when you have to LOSE points just to get more silver and the occasional bronze just to avoid being ragequit on 4 times in a row. Ridiculous.

This guy is known as David Gregorian - his former fighter ID is “Therealz” which was flagged by Capcom for rage quitting and had his points docked back to 500. This guy constantly denies his original ID, and deletes posts from the Street Fighter V and SFV-RAGEQUITS PSN-PC group (https://www.facebook.com/groups/1122334924444846/?fref=ts) to hide his association with it. What’s rather disturbing, he is also made an admin on the Street Fighter V Facebook group.
