LMAO Craterz79 the fool MinorTreat that you beat TWICE has actually got a Youtube channel (below) dedicated to exposing rage quitters whilst he’s rage quitting HIMSELF!!! Sheer hypocrisy LOL Pure comedy! You can’t make this stuff up! ;D
And it’s even worse that now you can’t even see the other player’s disconnect rate like you could in SF4. At least then I could decline to play anyone with over 2-3% disconnects and not have to waste my time.
I had 4 idiots rage quit last night. What’s the fucking point of having a rank if you have to cheat to get it? I’ve been stuck at 1050ish LP since the release and I haven’t raged quit once. 2 guys even rage quit after Casuals… I hope Capcom takes all your LP and Fight money you dumb fucks.
I might as well make contribution some of these players have already been noted as RQs, AlexLeder also has vids of them Rage quitting.
Cheng-XI - Even though it is a scumbag move I can understand if you’re currently in the sliver league or above and RQ against a Rookie/Bronze player, because you’ll lose a truckload of points but quitting when you get beat by someone in the same league as you, that’s just salty!
Owning your point losses isn’t just about being secure about your own e-peen. It’s about getting more matches against people in the same skill range as yourself.
The way the system SHOULD work is: If you get beaten by someone in a league below you, chances are that either you don’t belong in the league you are in, and thus you’re getting more matches against people who are better than you, and probably should rank down a bit. Or your opponent is actually better than the league they’re in, and need those points to get up to a level where THEY’LL get more matches against people their own level.
All the people who ragequit for ANY reason are doing themselves a disservice, because they’re just making it more likely that they’ll get more matches against people who’ll beat them down easily. Unless that’s their thing (and hey, I’m a Dark Souls fan, I can sorta sympathize), they’re just making the game less fun for themselves.
At least theoretically. I guess with the apparent amount of ragequitters in Silver and above, the pool could be diluted with enough people who’ve ragequit their way there that they get to fight their own kind plenty of times. They just, y’know, won’t get any points off of each other because they all RQ when they lose. So, uh. I dunno.
EDIT: This is of course not taking into account matches that turn into a teleporting mess.
