I saw my name on this list, actually a friend told me my name was. I am thatdemoguy. I know nobody really cares but I have to defend myself on this matter.
Yes I left the match. But I left the match in the first round. It wasnt a final round, last hit, demotion risk situation. I left because the connection was just horrible. As in I watched the vid and I couldn’t see any of the crouching he was doing on my end. I clearly backed away and wanted to see if it would level out. It was like watching someone teleport around the screen and then seeing rollback on hits and next thing I know im thrown.
So yes, if that makes me guilty, I did it. But I definitely am not a “rage quitter”, ive eaten more than my fair share of demotions and given out lots of points on my losses.
There needs to be a bit more thought put into it before calling someone a rage quitter.
I played someone name Dangief. Lag was horrible, wanted to let the lag settle, but he rushed me down despite that. I wanted to quit but then i finished the first round and didnt want to be branded a ragequiter. If it’s in the beginning i say it’s alright. But i think you were just prematurely labeled one if that’s the case. I don’t think you’ll qualify vs Capcom punishment tho. So there’s that atleast?

I apologyze with ferdi in his youtube for me rq. I was suspect that he have a lagswitch and disconnect for that. Was a really bad week fighting agains many rq and lagswitch players and was very tired and angry with that.
Yes. Probably was a really bad decision. I also have probably a total of 10 matches (many against people that rq against me and two o 3 more against people that i suspect use a lagswitch) doing a rq.
If i need to be punish be capcom, no problem. I accept that. Also anyone can check my profile and see that i lose agains many people without disconnect (some times losing 100 or 120 agains laggy low level players).
Well. I explain all. Isn’t a excuse. Finally and again, my apologyze to ferdi95 and any other player than wasnt guilty. My error.

I agree, people shouldn’t be punished for this. Quitting early on the first round is the only way one has to avoid fake 5 bar matches or fights against people using lag switches. The current netcode is too bad, we already have to deal with DBZ-like matches, why should this guy be punished for doing the only thing he could do in such situation? The guy with the better connection is the one being punished, and it’s ridiculous.
Quitting during the first 10 seconds of the match is not ragequitting, we should keep that in mind before adding anyone to the list.
