Acknowledging that a player is good is not excusing them from RQuitting. Some people may believe good players are less likely to RQ, but that’s clearly not the case anymore.
I guess I’ve never thought that. The pressure to cheat gets much more intense as it gets harder to progress towards the top. Going back to my analogy, a pro athlete is much more likely to use performance enhancing drugs than a high school player.
Ragequitting is also more damaging at the top because a sliver of difference in skill can determine the outcome.
Same here… RQ-ing and skill level are not mutually exclusive
it hasn’t even been two months. still, i agree with you that this is ridiculous.
First ragequit in a while.

I bet everyone here has rage quit at least once.
No faith lmao.
Seriously though, isn’t it a real hassle to rage quit in this game?

This one “espadas4”…
as the game started I noticed he wasn’t moving, so I didn’t attack him, cause I thought he could have some controller problem, so I walked back…
And a Rage QUit is qhat I got for being “nice” to him…

I’ve rage quit literally one time ever. It was in SF4 when I was Guy and my opponent was Guile. It was so laggy the first round took a non exaggerated 5 minutes. The timer was at 35 when it ended. I tried to just walk forward and let him take the win second round but he wouldn’t after about 30 seconds so I just stopped. I didn’t feel like sitting there for 15 minutes because someone wanted to be an asshole.
Not once. I don’t experience any sort of anger when I lose. I just like to play.
Literally not even once in the past 4-6 years. And even THEN… the only time I can honestly recall “ragequitting” was when my power went out and I quit out of a TTT2 ranked match… AND I WAS WINNING THAT MATCH. So the other guy must have been estatic for the free win…
But yeah, literally never ragequitted in any fighter since the PS3
Quitting a laggy match isn’t rage quitting. I do that and I am fine with someone else doing it to me if our connection sucks. But if you play it out, then quit when you don’t get the outcome you wanted, then it’s a bullshit rage quit.
