Parasoul is actually the current ruler; her father disappeared, according to the website’s entry on the Anti-Skullgirls Labs.
I thought all the clues pointed to him being transformed into Double. Double’s old design had a big crown that belonged to none of the characters mashed up to make her, and the king’s disappearance happened when he tried to limit the Anti-Skullgirls Labs.
Then I found out that Double is a her, which would make that theory a bit awkward.
She have monument in cathedral. It gives some… “ancient” feeling to her character. I’d bet she has little to do with ASGL. More likely she’s a product of skulheart’s magic or some independent entity.
