The run āsucksā because the dash is godlyā¦ Trag posted the what i will now label the āRaging Reset of Doom (RROD)ā, which makes Sakura pale in comparison (to a certain extent). The run xx stop specifically has weird recovery hitboxes. It can completely avoid high tigers and Tatsuās when you time the stop correctly, so its a baiting, meter building, close the distance technique. And you can still use it for pressure you just hav to train the opponent more and mix in those lp bushins that will grab anything that sticks its head out whether it be reversal or otherwise. Or drop an elbow which seems uninterpretable for the most part when using it in a black string, watching the vids I hav only seen Guy get hit out of a random bunshin flip, and chances are when u get the spacing of the elbow down people arent going to want to try knock u out of it in a block string unless they have a fast crouching anti-air. But that is risky due to the dangerous elbow to bushin chain on counter-hit = free ultra or fast trip to the corner, which could = free ultra or RROD

This is my friendsā Guy on 4-20-10 (mostly Guy vs. Juri):
Tell your friend heās gotta work on usng the hozanto more against juri. He gave you too much space so u could easily zone with her fireballs. Based on her fireball properties he canāt back dash away heās gotta stay mid-range, which allows Guy to punish either with hozanto (ex for sure) or bushin flip due to juriās vulnerable fireball animation since she canāt instantly throw it out like goukens hadoken. Ex run as well, but jumping is diff not the answer.

Okay this guy says this is an āAnti crouch setupā but Iām having trouble seeing how the hp lands. Unless counterhit hp has some new property that hits crouchers Iām not aware of. Analysis needed.

close st.HP seems to force a standing position on hit, and since its a counter hit, it gives you more +frames, which lets u link st.mp->st.hp into whatever.

Hi chaps, i think guy is pretty dam good and i think the idea of learning someone new is great ive had a play and found him to be a nice mix of combos and fast button action. tho i wanted to test out guys weakness so i played as ROG my Main on Hardest and found that guys a good all rounder tho i smashed the HELL out of him lol

Probably work on your crouch hit confirms guy s very deadly with thoseā¦ i mean Blazblue dangerous if you get what i mean.
i think its save to say that we just post of top lvl or new discovery guy vids in this thread. bc im pretty sure ppl wont care how many tiems u beat a scrub or cpu 20 times in a row. not beign a asshole or point fingers just sayin so this thread can stay clean. if u wana show vids and ask for tips just post it in the regular guy thread
