8.0 update is here…
Aaaaaand PSN is down.

Good presentation for the most part. Focused on new features more than fixing old ones, which makes sense cause it’s sexier to talk about.
As someone who designs interfaces for a living I’m looking at it from a more critical level. The UX of the PS4 is good for starting and resuming games but horrible when it comes to making adjustments.
For example: pairing controllers, adjusting headphone and mic volumes, remote play, and sharing clips are more difficult than they should be. Not as noticeable because people have been using the product for about 7 years, but a lot of it is attributed to their garbage menu design where the user isn’t sure if they should press up or hold the home button to complete a specific task.
The obvious redesign choice would be to scrap a lot of the extra menus, and narrow the functionality of the home button which it kinda looks like they’ve done but I have no clue.
I also wish they would’ve explored the PSN store updates more. To me that’s where Sony needs to improve the most, you wouldn’t believe that the PS4 has over 4,000 titles because they are only trying to sell me 20. Saying that the speed has improved and the design will be consistent with the system UI is good to hear though, so I can’t wait to see that.
Also fast-forwarding the start time of Demolition Allstars was smart because they avoided some console war bullshit.
Long as they fix the bugginess, i can deal with thr lost of ps3, psp ans vita stuff
That Blue, chief’s kiss
I wanna meet the nigga who buys a game console because of Travis Scott.
His collaborations with Fortnite, Air Jordan and McDonalds show MANY ppl would probably buy because of him…
…who is Travis Scott?
What?..
Is that for real? Maybe they’ll do an anti-abortion one next month lol
It got delayed til February and will be free with PS Plus? Smart move if the game is getting zero traction.
