Didn’t you go on a rant about how much you hate swimming in games in the DOOM Eternal thread? 
I don’t know the context but at least an open world exploration game makes more sense to have it. Where as Doom having swimming is a little weird.
Like DMC1 having those horrible swimming sections lol

The launch window seems to have more variety than the first 2 1/2 years of ps4 so thats a good sign. I was hoping for a fighter but oh well.
I like how they did the presentation. I think nintendo does a better job of selling the type of crazy shit you can do on a new console while cycling through games, and stuff like NBA2k would only get about 20 seconds of shine.

Yea cuz swimming in DOOM is pants on head retarded.
Swimming in an open world exploration game makes tons of sense. Now your explorable space is expanded to every body of water to. Not just land masses.

PS5 only has 1 USB port and 1 USB-C port, good luck running tourneys. You’ll either need adapters or be forced to play wirelessly
not to distract from the ps5 reveal, but does horizon zero dawn have a lot of stat building and resource/inventory management? i dont like turn-based rpgs and dont believe i have ever tried an “action rpg.” watched some videos and it just looks like a dope adventure game. trying to catch up on older stuff and wondering if this should be on my list. thanks
It’s an adventure game. It doesn’t have any stat management and the inventory management is pretty minor and mostly consists of selling junk and hunting and collecting things to craft bigger inventory.

Is not even the most powerful. Ps5 has 10 teraflops vs Xbone 12 teraflops however PS5 SSDs guarantee like twice the speed loading. Ps5 is def the fastest. You could argue even that the tflops difference wont matter much in the long run but regardless xbone is def not the better hardware. At best (for ms) they are comparable. Plus we all know at least sony has actual exclusives.

You’d be surprised by how many people will ask for underwater combat in a game, and, when it’s pointed out how it sucks, will claim that it can be done right by the dev team, or that they can learn from past mistaks.
Bruh, the only thing to learn is to never do it in the first place.

I mean, just because a thing hasn’t been done before doesn’t mean it can’t be done. I’m not someone that’s in love with underwater sections either but that doesn’t mean there’s no possible solution.
