I got my BC PS3 for 100, but that was one of the benefits of where I worked. It was also a couple years after release

I didn’t grab one until the MGS4 bundle came with it. I actually pulled that bish apart to “fix” the YLOD. Even went so far to add a potentiometer to increase the fan speed. It sounded like a freight train LOL.

Sold it on eBay for 150 and bought the newer unit.
