Been playing CTR: Nitro Fueled all weekend. It’s really fun and I’m having a blast.
Couple of things:

This game absolutely destroys Sonic Racing, but doesn’t top the original CTR. Vanilla CTR is still king.

Online racing has some issue to address, most notably, bugs on certain tracks. In it being Day 1, things will definitely flush out over time.

Speaking of online, shortcuts are back and they are more important than ever. Most of these are very easy to do, but most people (beginners and newbies) probably don’t know where they are. It completely obliterates any chances of them winning against the pros and veterans. I was hoping the developers would make shortcuts harder, or at least some sort of pocket gamble that if you mess up, you will lose A LOT of time for even attempting in the first place. Again, I feel like once the metagame flushes out over time, everybody will be aware and races will go down to the wire. It’s easy to look on YouTube and find out where they are, unlike in 1999.
