I just started GOW4 tonight, color me impressed. I’m glad it’s doing so well.

In Japan, Marvelous today announced plans to release Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin both physically and digitally for PlayStation 4.
In North America, XSEED Games announced last year that it will release the game for PlayStation 4, presumably both physically and digitally, and PC.

Does it mean they’ll actually lower the price on their memory cards…or is this the end of the Vita?

God of War is the #2 selling game in Japan so far this month. That, combined with my brother’s suggestion on what game I should play next (which I’m sure is because he wants to borrow it when I beat it), I bought God of War.

I only put in a few hours, and the game so far hits the marks in what I want out of a modern 3rd person action game, tight controls, enemy variety, interesting bosses, RPG elements (skill progression, item/weapon/armor customization, etc.), interesting breaks from the action with puzzles/story and (albeit minor) exploration. Looks beautiful too. Also the story is quite decent so far. And most importantly, it seems to avoid the SJW shit writing that ruined Horizon: Zero Dawn.

I just need to get used to these odd controls (I don’t like melee attacks on the trigger buttons). I’m considering changing them.

The only minus is the 30fps frame rate.

But 2018 is just getting started. To ring in a new year of incredible new gaming experiences, the PlayStation team is planning a new E3 Showcase — and we’re inviting all of our closest friends. That means you!
Join us on Monday, June 11 starting at 6:00pm Pacific Time as we share a preview of what’s next for PlayStation. We’ll broadcast the show live from E3 2018 in Los Angeles, California via live.playstation.com, Twitch, YouTube, and Facebook.
In a rare break from tradition, we wanted to give you an early glimpse at what to expect heading into the Showcase on June 11. PlayStation’s Worldwide Studios will be at E3 in full force to provide you with an exclusive look at four upcoming titles: Death Stranding from Kojima Productions, Ghost of Tsushima from Sucker Punch, Marvel’s Spider-Man from Insomniac Games, and The Last of Us Part II from Naughty Dog.
Of course, we’ll have stellar announcements from third-party publishers and independent developers, who are all busy devising innovative new experiences that will make your heart race and your emotions soar — whether you’re playing on PS4, PS4 Pro, or PS VR.
Stay tuned to PlayStation.Blog to learn a bit more about what’s in store as we count down to June 11, 2018 and another exciting E3 season.
