uh, whats the issue with the ARPG one?
The description of the mechnics involved in the party composition fairly reeks of hinting at gatcha, the suggestion of dlc which itself hints at a whiff of p2w, and the whole end-game evidently being designed around multiplayer.
I don’t see how you interpreted it that way at all. If you’re right and there is a system like that that requires real money then yeah I agree, fuck that, but I don’t think that’s even being hinted at. Also, I think the whole game is supposed to be MP basically from what they’ve been saying.
At the very least it’s way, WAY to early to write it off
- You will unlock playable characters by meeting specific requirements as you progress through the game.
This basically sounds like how unlocking has characters has worked in games since time immemorial.
Also, I don’t mind GFV being built around short combos and even having moves be pulled off with a single button. Animé fighters tend to have too long combos anyway - the only animé game I can enjoy these days is Vampire Savior specifically because the average BnB is just Magic Series into oki.
Meanwhile stuff like Rising Thunder shows you can build a game around one button specials - that is, if this is even about that, and not some sort of “Drive” button type deal similar to BlazBlue.
The video also highlights the following features:
- A completely original story
- Numerous sub-stories activated by meeting certain requirements
- Fully-voiced story and sub-stories
- Many new background music tracks
- Freely take pictures in “Photo Mode”

Tales of Vesperia, KH3 and Senran kagura for me. And even then I’m iffy on Senrean Kagura since Sony has decided to go censor happy on on it and other Japanese games. Namely dating simulators.
Judgement will definitely be on my day one list…
Oh fuck I forgot about Indivisible, I pray that ends up as good as I hope it will be
Wasn’t indivisible a kickstarter or indieagogo project from like 3-4 years ago? Seems like a long time ago when it was announced and funded. I’m surprised people still give a fuck about it
You do understand that lots of kickstarters for games happened when they were still early on right? 3-4 years to make a small-ish game for a small team is not an unreasonable amount of time.
Btw, why do you even comment on shit like this when you regularly admit you don’t even follow game news or even look into who made anything? Like, we get it, you don’t know shit about anything lol
Genuine curiousity because I’m either
A) Too lazy to look it up myself
Or
B) Don’t care enough to look it up myself
People are pretty quick to respond on here and even if they aren’t; I don’t mind waiting.
I forgot about it too. It’s good to see the game finally coming out. I enjoyed the prototype they released a few years ago.
