I’ve never had a problem typing on any kind of keyboard. I type so fast it doesn’t register that there are better type of keys out there.
And my card is a 970 from MSI. Dunno the resolution cap but yes I can go high.

Oh, if you’re a touch-typist, shit’s gonna feel **GOOD **once you mess around on a mechanical keyboard. Hell, I can attest being on one actually cranked up my WPM (last measured before, was around 80, but when I got my first mechanical keyboard, that mess skyrocketed to 90-95 range).
And a GTX MSI 970?

Is it this monster thing here?
Looking at specs, you can pump shit up to 4096 x 2160 resolution. That is, if you get a monitor to support that.
And dammit, is it me or did they in past years jack up gaming monitor prices?
That’s exactly the card I have. My monitor is just 1920x1080 or some shit. Not bad and great for games, but I kinda wanna blow my mind away with something huge. It’s just important that I can play fighting games on it.
And yeah, monitors are crazy expensive right now. I was gonna get one of those new Samsung ones but I think it was over $1K. Fuck that. My current monitor still works after 5 years lol.
And I type at like 130 WPM. I really don’t need any help typing for now. Either way I do marketing and am a writer. I never need to type that fast. I need to let my brain think first.
For monitors, in any case, this BenQ here (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824014384) actually looks too damn good to not get. And what the hell, it’s cheaper from Newegg than Amazon.
And the bold part… yeah, I sometimes have issues with that, too. Sometimes be typing and I think of something at that moment and it comes out of my fingers, then I look down and go “why the hell I type that word out?”
Okay, are these monitors any good?
Didnt that one user say 60hz wasnt good?
The only real perk I want from a mouse is thumb buttons that I can use as a short cut for back and forward in web browsers. It’s awesome.
A 970 won’t really be able to hit 4k @60 FPS anyway (with good settings). 1440p seems to be a good spot for it. I’d buy the 4k monitor just to have it though.
60 FPS is certainly fine, and what fighting games are locked to.
Blah, you try getting a 2ms response time monitor under 800.
I one for less than 300, soooooooooooooooooooooooooo

I can hit 4k, 60 fps for dark souls 2 sotfs while streaming so depends on the games. Usually the slightly older ones or extremely well optimized ones.
All the good monitor sales were during the Holidays/Black Friday/Cyber Monday.
As you said that game is really well optimized. It runs better than DS1: PTDE on my rig even with DSFix and some “HD” texture mod that actually increases performance while making the game look better(wtf.)
You know a game is optimized as fuck when you can (almost literally) run the game on potatoes hooked up to a couple of batteries and still get quality settings.
I don’t know if anyone mentioned it before (or if I did) but theres this monitor

Acer GN246HL 24" 3D Full HD Widescreen monitor sports a super-slim profile with an X-shaped stand that lets it fit nicely in spaces of any size. Outstanding performance, eco-friendliness and smart use ...
I don’t do larger than 24-26 inch
Question about SSDs… does the size matter? 9mm vs 7mm? I have a spare 7mm SSD at hand and was wondering if I could just pop that into my desktop.
Blah, you try getting a 2ms response time monitor under 800.
There are tons of them. The thing is, what’s the refresh rate? 2ms on a 60/75hz monitor? Yeah, about $250 - $400, depending on features. 2ms on a 120/144hz monitor? Yeah, that’s going to start at the 350 - $500 range and go up from there.
The appeal of high refresh rates is that games don’t stutter, tear and look like shit when things are happening quickly. In fact, the higher the frame rate the more noticeable a low refresh rate will become. This is why you don’t want to have a fast expensive GPU displaying on a shitty slow ass monitor. It’s also the reason games have a lock frame rate feature.
