Because I use both throughout the day and my membrane keyboard at work sucks compared to my mx switch keyboard at home.
I dunno, I still think watching a fighting game via VR would be awful. Some of them are hard enough to follow on a static screen, much less needing to turn your head to follow people around the arena.
Maybe for 3D fighters like VF it would be nice?..Maybe.
Itâd be great for rocket league.
Having used a mechanical keyboard for two years I canât go back to membrane. Buttons donât feel right and the response is totally different.
The bonus is that mechanical keyboards last for a really long time. I have a 486 keyboard that I am pretty sure would still work if I had anything compatible with it to plug into.
Give it to me, pretty plz.
Looks like a bad boring game from what Iâve seen.
Graphics also downgraded since first screens in classic Ubisoft style.
or a completely new type of fighting game? I know urban reign would easily work given its freedom of movement. with street fighter and tekken we donât know how that will work for sure as outside of namco and capcom nobody has the resources to even test it out. the possibilities are quite literally endless though
The graphics downgrades wouldnât even be a big deal if theyâd just let shit rock on PC. When the community fixed Watch Dogs graphics, and then Ubisoft âfixedâ their fix back to the shittier version? That was not a good look.
I mean, I get it? Microsoft fucks with the developers to make sure other platforms donât look better than their version, they did it on 360 and theyâre still doing it. So release it on PC however, but then donât attack the community when they fix that shit. That was low.
Check the reviews. Hereâs what you want in a gaming monitor:
Resolution: as large as you can push with your video card. A GTX 970 can play most games maxed @ 1080p
Screen Size: Smaller screens have better pixel pitches, so smaller screen + higher resolution is optimal.
Refresh Rate: 144hz 120hz is okay too.
Response Time: 1ms 2ms is okay too.
[] The monitor you linked has a 5ms Response time, which is pretty average and not particularly aimed at gaming.
[] It also has the same pixel pitch as most gaming 27â monitors, but with a whole 640 pixel difference in horizontal resolution. You will likely see pixels/jagged edges when youâre close to this screen.

It also has a 60hz refresh rate, which is not particularly aimed at gaming.
Looks like a decent desktop monitor, but not necessarily for gaming. Monitors with that large curved screen size and resolution with gaming specs are in the $1K range:

For gaming at a decent price range you want something like this.
Or this, which is a 4k, for which you will need a graphics upgrade to play games at max settings.
In fact, your card may not be able to push the 2560 x 1080 resolution at max either. But all of this is highly dependent on the game youâre playing and on other factors. This is why itâs best to overkill a bit on graphics once you get into resolutions higher than 1080p @ 60ht since you never know what sort of stress a future game title will place on your system.
If youâre not concerned with gaming all that much and donât care if itâs not perfect, then meh. Go with your wallet and your heart. With ultra-wides, youâre basically getting a stretched out 27â that sacrifices performance for desktop area.

Manx out here bleeding me, suggest a quality gaming mouse ma man. Also Shima am gonna jump on that Zotac extreme 970, is there any good reason I should throw in an extra 2 ton and go for their 980?
I donât do gaming shit, especially mice. Logitech, basically. That said, I have one of the cheaper Thermaltake eSports mice and Iâm okay with it.

#5. âclickety-clacketyâ
What switches do you guys use? I like the sound of blues but I settled for brown switches instead, as I found blue too soft and red was definitely too hard for me.
âclickety-clacketyâ is the best reason, yes. Even just running my fingers through the top of keys without depressing them makes a satisfying sound.
Rocking a Filco Majestouch 2 btw.
As a writer, Iâm surprised for Raz0r not to appreciate the mechanical keyboard. I will never go back to mush keys.

#4 is always the best and most trill reason.
probably better not to go 980 as 970 is the better price per performance. if youâre gonna try and overclock 970 its probably better to get the reference (original) 970 as Iâve read you can overclock it to about the same yourself and the Zotac 970 doesnât have the wiggle room. so basically, Zotac 970 if you donât want to go through the overclocking process (some overclocks donât turn out that high so its a risk)
if you add two ton PLUS ÂŁ70 youâll be able to get this
which is better than a 980. if you just want something to tide you over for a year or two just get the Zotac 970/970 reference (a year or two is an understatement as 970 is a very good card)
sweet, yea its just to tide me over until am ready to build up a ddr4 rig.
Yeah I showed Snake that DANGER ZONE only keycaps was like $60
couple of months ago
But it covered every key.
Fat boy big gulp, drainage from being raised. So spills wonât kill your shit when youâre playing Second Life like mcWarrior. mech pls go. no.
