I highly doubt it will come over. Just because Sqeenix is finally showing PC some interest with the Final Fantasy games doesnāt mean that theyāll just go all in with PC gaming. If that were the case, we wouldāve gotten this collection that just dropped.
At the same time, Disney just ported a shit ton of their games over to Steam, including Disney Infinity, their new money printer. Iād say thereāe a 20% chance we could see the game on PC.
Actually, @Negative-Zer0ā just take a look at this, look at the Outstanding one and base your decisions around that (prices might not be 100% current and accurate) http://www.logicalincrements.com/
thatās a nice link valaris. I did not know that some of my components were up there so high.
Is that 1200 limit without needing monitor(s), keyboards, mouse, speakers, and any other miscellaneous stuff.
Anyways with 1200 to spend, I would definitely at the least get a 970, 4690k and a nice 750 modular power supply, if you are only into gaming. If you are gonna be doing a lot of video editing, rendering and whatnot then switch that 4690k with a newer i7.
I bought it during the Steam Sale, but never EVER played it yetā¦I might be down!
edit: My setup, more or less (oddly enough itās stating my motherboard doesnāt support USB 3.0, yet I specifically bought it because it DID support it):
I agree with Valaris, my 970 blows through anything I throw at it with ease, Iām very impressed with these cards and hope I get to actually use it with some good titles next year. Far Cry 4 is kinda fun though I wonāt lie.
Bless valve, got rid of some old ass backgrounds and emotions for about 8 cents. thats been sitting in my market at .03 for months. Just wanted my inventory clean.
Now i got to think of a way to get rid of Gun Monkeysā¦
ok soā¦my friend bought a new GPU that came with a free ubisoft game, he gave the code to me, and I downloaded Far Cry 4ā¦game is gorgeous, but apparently there is a problem with the game running properly with a x360 controller attachedā¦it only runs with a mouse and keyboardā¦and I havent played a mouse and keyboard game in about 15 yearsā¦so iām a bit salty about thisā¦but oh wellā¦time to invest in a gaming mouse I supposeā¦this wireless usb isnt going to cut itā¦editā¦wow how do yall do this shit?..Iām super uncoordinated w the keyboard.
its not auto aim that is the problem, just pressing the correct keys without having to fumble for them/taking too much timeā¦my muscle memory just isnt there like it is for a controllerā¦doing that shit in real time on a keyboard is just difficult when Iāve gamed on controllers for a decadeā¦and looking around with a mouse is a lil awkward for me as opposed to an analog stickā¦the last game i remember enjoying w M&K was Max Payne 1ā¦i just gotta relearn how to ride the bike againā¦Iāll keep at it here and there
Weāll put you through some shock therapy; Get starcraft 2 and donāt click on abilities/commands at all and do some laddering. Youāll walk out of that as if you walked out of the hyperbolic time chamber.
Anyways. The good thing about mouse and keyboard is that you can bind shit anyway you want so that youāll get comfortable your own way. If you donāt like sprint or w.e on this key, you move it somewhere you like better. Some games give you some whack ass binds so youāll be doing it occasionally. Thereās plenty of flexibility on ways to use a keyboard, so you donāt ever have to use the default binds.
Itās not too different from using a stick. QWER + ASDF is like the button face of a stick except itāll be on your left hand. Usually the more reactionary or most used binds are near the movement keys aka WASD and thatās where your fingers will be resting majority of the time.
E and F are usually the equivalents of the A button on controller*** edit, equivalent as far hitting A to inspect or whatever***. R is generally the reload button for most fps, Q is quick swap usually, and Z X C are utility keys.
So basically most of the focus on binds are around this box.
12345
QWERT
ASDFG
ZXCVB
Anywhere past that are usually binds for menus or w.e.
