Depending on your sound software, you can alter the way the channels access your surround sound, but creates the “illusion” that it is SS.
Sure, it won’t be the real thing, and you’ll notice it, but it won’t sound like complete shit either.
Capcom having a sale on Steam. I want to pick up the original Dead Rising 2 but I don’t feel that $10 is a good deal for a game that old.
Ugh, I picked up RE6 during the last Capcom sale.
Fuckin, first time I had buyers remorse on steam. I really wanted a refund for this crap.
Like, okay, I knew of RE6’s rep, I know how it’s far from an RE game, but everyone was going on saying shit like “If it didn’t have the Resident Evil title on it, everyone would have enjoyed it!”
So I treated it like a non-RE game and holy fuck, it was soooooooooooooooooooooooo boring.
Feel asleep twice trying to beat Leon’s campaign. Why was is so boring??!?!? Slow and shitty 3rd person action, slow pace story ending with explosions LEIK OMG!! The bosses were all lame as hell, and you did more damage jumping into QTEs against them. For that matter, the entire game was a fuckin QTE, fuck! The music outside of mercenaries mode, was garbage. Fuck, how do people defend this game?!?!

I keep trying to tell people to stop trusting modern day Capcom, and the fuckin NOSTALGIA, man. They just don’t listen. They just keep thinkin they’re gonna get it right next time.
I liked RE6 as a straight-up action game well enough. I thought Leon’s campaign was the worst, despite what others say. Forced walking segments do not increase tension.
Overall the tweaked movement & combat mechanics at least made it better than RE5 imo, which stands stands head & shoulders above as the worst mainline RE.
Ugh… those 12 bucks could have gone to dinner… or PoE items…

I liked RE6. I felt only Leon’s and Ada campaigns were worth playing. The other two were ass. IMO, RE6 has the best mercs mode in the series. Honestly, I would buy a standalone mercs game with RE6’s gameplay.
USF4 taught me that lesson the hard way.

Fuck all these ports of Neo Geo games they’re bringing to the PC. Who cares if that shit has better netcode and Steam features, you can p much get the same deal from emulators + netplay clients (ALL FOR FREE).

player base is really bad. if you’re playing solo and attrition(YUCK) then you will have no problems finding games. if you actually want to have a good time (CTF, marked for death) and you are queuing with a group expect to wait 5-10 minutes to find a game
To be honest, you’re beter off playing on a console. The player base is larger, for the most part, though the campaign is still a decently long wait since everyone who wanted the game has played the campaign already.
Thanks for the input. I may pick it up just to mess around, I enjoyed the beta but wasn’t about to pay full price for it.

having an adjustable fov is also huge
