So I recently finished Borderlands 2, and when I mean finish I mean with all the dlc, got all the achievements, etc. Would Borderlands 1 be worth my time? I never tried it, I jumped straight to 2.
ya, it’s because of a game mechanic which allows you to capture the soul of EVERY enemy in the game and then grants you the ability to switch to them and play as that enemy. they then unlock in practice mode and vs for use. additionally, there will be even more characters because the developers included community unlocks, like once the community beats the warlock x amount of times, his mask breaks and once it completely breaks new content for the game is released. im assuming new enemies, items, etc etc.
Yeah lucky I just happened to run into Abyss Odyssey when it was a discounted pre-release ($10). The fighting can indeed get pretty intense, if you go into that game button mashing then you’re dead by the 2nd stage, on easy mode.
I like it more as a pve game, I can’t quite wrap my head around getting serious about any pvp fighting, but I’ve only put at about 3 hours into it, enough to unlock the 3 main characters. And capture the minotaur girl. MINOTAUR GIRL
I guess I have to change my expectation from KI-style long combos to more of a stick-and-move, positioning type of game. then maybe pvp may seem more appealing. It can get pretty intense with the blocks, dodges and rolls.
By the way, has anyone tried Gods will be Watching yet? So far I’m hearing a lot of disappointing comments, but only from players who didn’t think it was a managing point system type game. Some people thought they had to make specific choices to progress in the game, thus moving the story in their own pace. After they found out they had some sort of adjective, a lot of players felt inclined to state how that was a poor decision.
It’s what I expected, however, there are some very odd bugs that create some interesting story elements. And by interesting, I mean stupid.
Certain characters in the story would die due to failing a scene, but allows you to progress, only to have said dead character in the next chapter.
I dunno, I’ll wait about 2 weeks to see if they fix up any issues the game is currently under going, or perhaps it’s just people complaining.
positioning and footies are at the forefront, then executing the combos if you can set them up. i enjoy it as a pve game, not really interested in the pvp aspect.
in the video, the firefighter can actually do the ground slide in the air which he didnt exploit or use. it allows you to fall quicker and continue comboing on the ground. i thought about making a combo video for the competition they have but meh never really liked combo videos even when i was hardcore into sf.
The way you described the game looked interesting, Heat, but when I watched it in action, it seemed too slow/sluggish to really pique my interest. Does it feel better than it looks?
I got the well-documented Wailing Host glitch. After multiple reloads, at the same moment (during the 2nd attack pattern), he just stands there and does nothing. All I can do is deplete his life, but nothing happens after that.
Sometimes I wish Steam had every pc game in its library instead of just most.
For example, The Saboteur and Tron Evolution aren’t on Steam but they’re on Amazon as digital downloads.
Finally starting to get the components for my PC. I picked up the Asus PB278q for my monitor and Ducky Shine 3 MX brown 87 key keyboard. I realized when I was at work that even though I sometimes miss the numberpad on keyboards, I rarely use it anyway since I’ve gotten so used to typing on laptops. Weird how that works out. Next up: picking a motherboard. I’m hoping I can find a great blue themed motherboard.
So you guys would know, did they ever address Nidhogg’s shit netcode? It always blows my mind when a PC game has poor online play, but apparently that was the case here.
