What do you think of the characters so far? What sort of impression do they leave on you? What would you like to see in the upcoming chapters?
i have read the fan fic from beginning til now, and i must say it has really helped me get a good idea of how,and why gouki is the way he is in the sf story, also it has brought characters like gouken, and goutestu to life. your fan fic only shows how much we love reading and learning the story behind the SF characters and how lazy capcom has been to produce something decent. your fan fic has been better than any of the animes or comics i’ve ever read.

I like the story. No love the story. As far as I’m concerned this is the official story to SF 2. Umm, what I’d like to see, since Ryu and Ken have polar opposite personalities i’d think it would be hard for them two to get along. Maybe you could expand on how their friendship started.

The way you write the story really brings the characters to life, this fanfic sounds better than the original SF canon storyline or animae that capcom could come up with…much more detailed and rich in atmosphere.
The impression this fanfic has left on me has made me love playing SF that much more (especially with Akuma, Ryu and Ken).
For upcoming chapters, include a story about Dan after he got kicked out of Gouken’s dojo and went off on his own to develop his “own” style (the sakio (sp?) style he uses from sfa2 if not mistaken).
Also, a side story about Goutetsu’s wife Afaik(sp?) and how she found out about her husband’s death and her reaction to it, did she start training students of her own or did she leave their house and dojo etc…
The characters really are brought to life… Specially Gouken and Gotetsu, although we know very little about these characters I think you have done a wondeful job depicting their personalities…
the presetation of the fight sequences is also very good… the entire story is very detailed and yet within the canonity of street fighter… apart from a few subtle changes, this story is truly official storyline material…
For the coming chapters, I would love to see the interaction between Ryu and ken… and specially gouken’s teaching style… I woould love to see more of retsu and dan… and if possible some bits of Sagat and Adon too…

Good pacing and usage of terms. It would be great for your fans when you hit the 25 Chapters. Is there anywhere that you have placed them all together into a continuous story? I’m sure a lot of people would love to read them from Start to where you left off

A breakdown:
I write in notebooks mostly. I just keep on handy and write in it. And I don’t force myself to write too much. When I get inspiration I go at it until I finish whatever was in my head but sometimes those moments are sparse for The Path. Sorry. But I wrote out everything in those notebooks with a bunch of notes and shorthand and all that. Then I type it (and edit it in the process) and post it here.
Right now I am just typing out of the notebook which is the next chapter.
