ah, yours do about the same as mine. (it’s a previously mentioned normal combo I adapted for throws)

When in the corner instead of super I do qcf+lp, cr.hp xx dd+k xx qcf+pp.

a bit under 7 k mid screen and the corner does about 7,5k (where i go straight into cr.mk st.hp xx fly). They are not optimized at all but they work on everyone I believe and I really want to try to focus on the game rather tan constantly keeping up with the new combos*. I do a slightly different variarion when not done from a throw.

that leaves me with the question, what kind of air resets do you guys have on bella and double, they always fall before I can air throw.

Just found a cool one with st.hk (2 hits) xx fly, df+airthrow.

Throw+Buer Thresher combo’s. It seems to work on everyone.

I really don’t want to sound full of myself, as I am a choke artist and drop combos like no one else. But I have never lost a ranked match online ever, and I only ever lost player matches when I’m goofing off with random characters or horrible ping. My win streak is over 400wins in a row.

The reason? Team Painwheel wins against every character solo 10-0 with assists. If you do her reset correctly with filia’s cr.mk they have to make a perfect guess of left right high low. Even if they guess right, you are at such advantage you can keep going. If they do an invincible move inbetween such as filia’s srk or parasoul’s flash kick you can see it on reaction and fly to the side and fly back in. If they pushblock you can fly back in before the pushblock animation ends.

You can escape the pressure super easy and possibly get a full combo using alpha counters except:

  1. Nobody uses alpha counters. 2. Solo characters can’t alpha counter.

I don’t think the game actually tells you how to Alpha counter…

While I’ve never actually done one, I believe it’s the same input as SF Alpha counters (heavy emphasis on believe)

So someone asked about Hatred Install Combos… I started working on this earlier and its still unfinished but here is what i have so far

Corner only:
j.mk > Fly > j.mk > cr.mp > cr.hp > qcb+pp(Install) > j.mk > j.qcf+hk > j.lp > j.qcf+hk >j.lk > j.qcf+hk > qcf+hk > j.qcf.kk > cr.mp > s.hp > qcf+lp > …(add more)

so with this it requires 4 meter - can start the combo at probably 3.75 meter and build the rest at the beginning of the combo
It nets about at 7k damage (1.00 multiplier) range right now in the unfinished state
Also the QCF+LP stagger should happen just before Install runs out - and due to install special property the remaining parts of the combo afterwards won’t be affected by the typical 50% proration of that move.

I’ll leave you guys the task of finishing this.

What are your best combos that YOU do:

-Off Cr.LK
-Off a Jump-In
-Off a throw

Can I have you Mid-screen and corner variants? However, they need to work on EVERYONE including, Double.

I think I got this once, and that was only the result of being in a complete state of Painwheel zen. So far I’ve been throwing in a couple random normals here and there to see if I can’t squeeze some more juice out of it but damn Mike Z and his infinite prevention, preventin my infinities!

No need to try random normals. You can’t continue a combo using a normal if you’ve already started a magic series with the normal in question. You also can’t immediately reuse a normal you just used.

The perfect combo gets max damage using the heaviest available normals in the initial “stage”, then manages to connect a magic series starting with every standing normal, every crouching normal and every air normal. How you land all of these is through landing between air strings, relaunches, restands, wallbounces, groundbounces and OTGs throughout your combo.

In order to maxmize a solo Painwheel combo, I’m pretty sure you’ll want to combo into DD+K xx Death Crawl mid-combo after you hit your max scaling limit, spend your OTG, then Restand/Relaunch until you finish everything, then somehow have the opponent mid-air to end the combo with Buer Thresher. Using Hatred Install early mid-combo will help as well, since you can make use of good use of ground and wallbounces from Buer Reaper magic-series enders. These allow you to follow up a string without wasting normals to the IPS by trying to restand/relaunch the opponent.

For Urichinan’s combo, MP, HP and HK isn’t used. You could theoretically squeeze them in there, but I have no idea how.

Fair enough! I can’t say I really understand the logic behind the magic series and IPS, it’s been rather Trial and Error thus far. Also I’m curious if Hatred Install handles IPS the same way. I seem to recall Double’s Cattelite lives temporarily ignoring it. Is this perhaps also a property of Painwheel’s level 3? Then it could simply be a matter of finding the most devastating 10 second loop. Though I worry it’s not that easy…

I don’t think Hatred Install bypasses the IPS, however, it allows you ground and wallbounces off of her grabs, which allow you to set up more devastating strings of normals. You can do ABC xx Buer Reaper > Wall-Bounce > BCD xx Buer Reaper > Ground-Bounce > DEF xx Buer Reaper xx Whatever. Those extra specials mean you’re doing more damage, and not wasting valuable potential magic series trying to keep the combo going.

Ninja-Edit: Also, using your 1 mid-combo stun from L.Gae Bolga Stinger early is important, I think. It should allow you to get a naked s.HP xx Fly in early, which you wouldn’t get otherwise. Being able to squeeze in heavy normals before scaling makes them lackluster means more damage. It’s hard to confirm whether or not it’s worth it, as naked cr.HP does more damage. >_<

Painwheel is #1 in this game… free…

I don’t think any solo characters are going to be #1. What you get option-wise out of assists/alpha counters is just too good.

I hear Painwheel/Someone Else is gunning for top-tier, though.

Ok Urichinan, I’m having some problems with this combo. It seems that after I do the whiff Fly MK and try to land the s.LP the opponent drops out of the combo. The LP won’t connect, it just ends the combo. Any thoughts?
