uh oh!
Well, if you can’t make it, there’s always next time. Perhaps Saturday night would be better for you?

Yeah we’re gonna try for Saturday. I’ll have more time to do stuff like this when I’m not on swing shift.
I just want to say thanks to the guys who showed up last night for some AE. I hope you all had some fun.
yall had some games last night??? damn next time yall battle on AE let me kno
I know what you mean. It seems that the people who love AE come in 1 or 2 at a time but never on the same night and usually don’t come back. Not much I can do about that. Maybe I can try to organize a night for all the AE specific players can meet and realize that they aren’t alone at the TOS. I’ll remember to spread the word to the next few who show up and wonder where the competition is.
Just so you guys know, GameBreakerz in Auburn is having a session/tourney tomorrow. Seattle is Marvel country and the best players in the NW gather at this lan center to level up every week.
It’s a 20 minute drive and well worth it for the competition. Also, I’ll most likely be at the next session you guys host. Hope to see some of you there.
Had a great time. I don’t know when we’ll be able to be back, but whenever I have a Wednesday or Saturday free I’ll come by.
Yeah that was a blast. Glad you guys could make it out.
I have some great news. Olympia Fight Club liked our venue quite a bit when they visited us a few weeks ago. So much so that they’ve scheduled a pretty big tournament at the TOS on Saturday, April 7th.
After speaking to Joshua aka “Manoftheleaf” on several occasions we’ve been able to begin arrangements. And I’ve been very impressed with Josh’s professionalism and deep understanding of tournaments in general. Not to mention the patients and willingness to hold my hand through all of this while I learn as I go.
They are doing just about 99% of all the work but I was able to give them pretty much total control of the venue. From the sounds of things, come April 7th, TOS may look very different on the inside than it does now. It will all be rearranged by the Olympia Fight Club as they see fit with mostly their own equipment as well. From what I’ve been told, we are expecting quite a bit of entries from Olympia alone, I hope Tacoma has some adequate representation come judgement day.
Olympia Fight Club will stream the event, and from the sound of things, with live commentators. I’ll know more about that as time goes on.
This is a pretty big step and sounds like a ton of fun! I added the info above in my initial post at the top but I’ll copy it down here for convenience.
Oh yeah, for the Akuma player I met on Saturday night. This is what I was talking about when I mentioned his X-factor tatsu loop. It’s not an infinite by any stretch but I feel that it may as well be considering how much damage it can dish out before dropping. I don’t use it, not because of any self righteousness, I just end up getting myself killed whenever I try to set it up.
(Btw, Go easy on me, I’m new to this whole video editing concept. Probably gonna be a long time before I outgrow windows movie maker, lol.)

Hey guys, I’m posting your session info in the NW SF group. Might get you a few more people.
Oh awesome! Thank you.

I bought a copy of SFxT for PS3. I’ll be sure to bring it.
TOS Kioga:can u fix joysticks?
Whats wrong with it??
So who from Seattle heads down there every wednesday and sat night. I would be more than happy to put some gas in your tank for a ride.
I have been going here for almost two months and I have yet to meet someone from Sea-Town at TOS. Just because there are more options for venues North of Auburn.
Dantes, Toefu dojo, Gameworks, Another castle, AFK tavern just to name a few.
Thanks for the info, have been away from fighting games for a while now. Just looking for the community in the Seattle area.
This is a good place to start. Gamebreakerz is the place for Marvel and Dantes is the place for SF and KOF. SFxT is everywhere these days. GW is still hoppin on Thursdays too.
