Just level up some and learn one or two characters very well first (highly suggest one is a tank since no one plays them). Does wonders, and usually get stuff like “OMG, I love you Shen” or “Shen is gdlk” just from have map awareness for ult.

Jose’, the hype train is still very much alive for MK9! I’m getting it for 360, which may be detrimental, since the game is probably going to be played almost exclusively on Ps3s at tournaments (CEO, EVO, I’m sure future Barfights, etc.) — hopefully I’m wrong. I’m intending on using the Madcatz SF pad to play the game, which means I might have to fork out $40+ just to get one to play in tournaments on Ps3

Mortal Kombat midnight release confirmed for at least 1 GameStop thus far (Lake Mary location, 4300 W Lake Mary Blvd). This is awesome news. No other word yet as to whether other GameStops are following suit, or if there will be a tournament. I’ll keep you guys posted.
