@jose, I was in south beach for the pool parties & night stuff, ultra was sold out. my buddies sister was there she said it was ok. but yea since the split from last year (wmc & ultra) you could definitely tell that there weren’t that many people out on the streets n shit. I was at some party on friday with dubfire and there were like 100 people (that’s being generous) that never happened before. so yea hopefully next year they kiss an make up and have both events during the same week in march.

But it was really good imo you just have to pay attention. The movie was deep I needa see it again to give it an honest review but the portrayal of women being built up by there peers (and men with ) to one day be taken away by a “highroller”

people say the movie was sexist but imo it was the opposite. For example when the main character danced for the high roller we are treated to an epic battle involving all the women there fighting demons killing monster and whatever there doing these epic feats only to get caught everytime. They got caught stealing the map and the lighter. Women taking on the world it seems like only to be foiled in the end. For every successful happy woman there are dozens of women struggling dozens of women that had to sacrifice things for there family or friends. Idk I really really liked it. The CGI of the first battle was truly epic in imax. Hopefully one day I can be apart of something so beautiful

You’re totally right it’s because i didn’t understand what was going on that made the movie so completely boring after about 45 min…:wtf: It had nothing to do with a very obvious plot pretending to be deep, or the over abuse of slow motion in the action scenes. The movie was alright but didn’t warrant me spending 21 dollars + tax to see it one time…
I think the reason you liked it so much was because you were high. Watch it sober and you will recognize the “hidden messages” you found were not that hidden. THE best part of the movie was CGI, and sadly everything else was not nearly half as good as you remember.

As for sucker punch I was really hyped bout it. If I like it after I watch it on the comp I’ll go watch it in the movies
