i know its blaspheomy to ever say such… but im entertained when i watch the matches, i like the risk vs reward gambles he takes with the charachter.

What I want to know is how pad Abel players hit the st.HP 1-frame link off step kick without being able to plink.
I practiced plinking on a pad for like 15 minutes and it turns out it works pretty well, once you get used to working the triggers properly. We have a guy local to us named Dennis who was hitting step kick to stand fierce 100% on a PS3 pad, it was nuts… he landed it every single time at one of the qualifiers
I don’t plink, and I hit it pretty consistently.
One frame links don’t even seem hard in SF4…

I dont plink , But Ive noticed alot of abel players do it. Im with HAV , one frame links arent even hard anymore, well from the beggining. At least to me they arent…

I think it’s just the overall slowness of the game that makes the 1-framers seem easy. There’s so much time in-between the toward + forward and st. fierce that it’s really hard to miss it. Hell, I have a better time with Akuma RH loops than I did doing CH jab xx cr. forward with Rolento in CvS2.
