I used to play IIDX, pop’n and guitar freaks. I haven’t touched them for months but you beat me at any of those and I will gladly admit that you are my superior at a game, which is the most important thing in life. I was never a DDR or ITG player, so I could really care less if you beat me in either of those. I’m friends with people who are so that’s why I had heard of you. You were a dismal failure there so it’s no surprise to see you somewhere else trying to feign self grandur. Right, and what was that DDR world record you set that is so impressive? Was it getting the highest possible score in a single set? Was it getting the best score on the hardest song? Was it anything that could be considered impressive by people that actually play the game? No, it was playing for 13 hours straight. Something you only need a bunch of free time to do. I guess winning quite a few technicals and freestyle tournaments back in the day for DDR isn’t anything to talk about either among other DDR players. Don’t hate cause I did something fun with a videogame that got a little bit of recognition. Did you also know I’ve been paid to Teach Kids how to play DDR at Conventions before.
For being quite the loser I am for doing stuff with videogames, I’d say I’m quite proud of the fun I’ve had.
And as for the 13 hours, i went 8 hours straight towards the end on only Expert songs, and never failed a single song the entire day. Back then not many people could do that.
I did that record because of the free publicity sure, but I also did it to prove to myself that having Asthma as a child all my life wouldn’t stop me from a stamina test. Donating money to a charity also felt good. Let me see what you’ve done for the community then mock my cockiness.
Let’s not forget the top money finishes I also had playing Vs. System the card game on the million Dollar Pro circuits they had when the game was hot.
Sure my gaming accomplishments may not mean shit to you, but I have a right to be a cocky bastard with some of the things I’ve accomplished. I’m sure as hell a good friend too, just ask the guys here that I hang out with.
