anybody playing in the tournament @ PLAY’N’TRADE later today? i’ve never played in a video game tournament before, so i’m not expecting to do well, but i do hope to meet some cool peeps.
so who’s going to be there?
Today is the National Gamestop Tournament.
The Play n Trade tournament is supposed to be next Saturday the 28th, Unless something changed there.
play n trade is next week feb 28th at 7… so you will more then enough time to finish the second round jbailey… not many people will be left… lol…

Just called Play n Trade, they’re expecting to start after the Gamestop tournament is over. So around 5/6ish
It’s on 360, bring your own controller, Im gonna bring my hard drive with characters and the game itself. It’s at the Play n Trade by waterford lakes next to buffalo wild wings.

so far the social thing is looking good, the tournney will either be the last week of march (mon, 23) or monday april 6th. offcial announcment to come in the next few weeks. hope to see you guys there.
I lost first round.
I’m wearing my wrist and headbands as we speak, and I’m using them to hang up my winners poster, I look better in a headband than Jebailey!
I won the tournament at Cassleberry. Whoo hoo!

I won my first round.
The Play N Trade tournament after Gamestop tourney was AMAZING.
I lost first round to Jose in the tournament
came back through Loser’s Bracket to Face Jose in the finals.
However we split the cash (130 total) 3 ways.
1st was Jose,
2nd me Alex Jebailey
3rd Torrin
4th Casanova
16 people entered and it was a blast…
Casanova our match was super close. Listen You did amazing, You should of picked C. Viper to beat me. I know exactly How Sagat plays, so when you’re good with a new character, you opponents won’t know what to expect. Be confident in the rogue players, not the given Top Tiers like Sagat.
I expect great things out of you with Street fighter 4
Everyone else it was a blast.
as much as we all agree Street Fighter 4 is slow, it’s a fun game, and we’ll get used to it, Definitely love the level of competition we got going.
Best of luck to all of us who made round 2, Sucks we all made it together but we’ll make the best of it.

so do you have to go to kissimee for the round 2? i might go to watch how it goes down. are you able to use your joysticks now too?
Honestly I’m not sure, They gave us certificates that said congrats you made it to round 2. Go to your disctrict store but it didn’t have exact address of where to go, just said go to Gamestop for Details.
Since me and trent won in the same area they told me we’d go to the new 5 times bigger then normal Gamestop store located on town center Blvd in hunter creek and play on big screens, but heard the manager isn’t a nice guy so he’d stick to the controller rules so nobody knows. I’ll find out during the week where we have to go.
If possible I’ll go to the store that’s actually 10 minutes from my house in Ocoee that’s listed for round 2.
Hopefully we can use sticks cause Pads suck, the store I played at, the pads actually stuck a few matches, But I adapted.
I know for sure the new Kissimmee/Town center and East Colonial are disrict stores. Then winners of that meet at round 3 which is listed as the East Colonial but I’ll see.
Honestly after seeing today’s tourney, I feel like this one is a joke and it’s more of a Who gets lucky and goes to California thing.
I’m just happy The PLay n Trade tourney was great competition and we’ll have fun playing this.

hunters creek? where is that? i was reading the rules too, and it seemed like west oaks mall, and fashion square mall had the round 2. Oh well. My tourney was on ps3. Those pads are the funk for shit. Default buttons and shit, so I was jumping all over the mafugging place. Everyone, but me, played a shoto too. It was so funny. “has anyone NOT picked ryu or ken in the tourney?” me raises hand “you don’t count!”
gratz on your tourney win. I’ve played both torrian and cassanova and they are good comp. not an easy win, that’s for sure.
