When are you free again? I need to test some things. I think you can pushblock everything except Kara’s A attacks and super him (with Ryu at least, haven’t tried anyone else), but I’m not sure if that’s just me fucking up because I’m using two controllers at once. I also pushblocked his jump in with the genie and got super but i can’t get it consistently. if that’s the case, he can’t jump in on Genie in the corner at all which takes away his only mixup. Get a lead, run to the corner with the genie and block and Karas has problems. I still am not convinced that he’s top tier. I think he’s just on some Rufus shit. Pressure no one knows how to deal with because of how new both the characters and the games are.

I wasn’t AMAZED by it, but it’s damn fun.
Was playing on the Xbox360 version.
Did not get to play any console characters, you have to unlock them by beating arcade mode with certain characters. So the default characters are pretty much everyone from Arcade except for Akuma.
First opinion about Focus Attacks, They are fun and powerful if you get to hold them completely, but some characters it’s just utterly useless. Also it’s good to tell you now, to absorb rapid fireballs you have to FA, then back dash so you can FA over and over if need be, otherwise your punch or kick will come out and you’ll get hit by the next projectile.
Sagat is a BEAST, he has an extremely fast F+FP overhead that is just nuts.
Ultras are hard to get out unless you FA Cancel into one, otherwise you can pretty much always see them coming.
This game is still meant to be played by pros, However I think scrubs do stand a chance cause after playing alot with Ryu and Sagat, there were alot of traded hits when people would jump in against uppercuts.
Overall I can’t wait for all of us to play the game, Some characters I doubt will ever get picked in tourney play such as C.Viper and El Feurte who is just funny to play with and that’s it.
These are just my opinions, but I can’t wait to play with everyone in tournaments and for fun.

Man Fuck Karas im getting tired of that rush down shit my friend Jermaine uses him lol. And yeah the only way to punish his unstoppable assault is to wait for the right hit {which i dont know which button it is but i know it from playing it so much} And with Rockman Volnutt you push back and then do his machine gun barrage super. Regular attacks normally aren’t fast enough to step in and its a pretty tight space cause the bitch is just so fast. I imagine other supers work like ryu’s shinku hadouken. But after i land the super i just keep the distance game with the machine gun and play the field until i build bar to do it again. Karas is hella cheap but he takes akuma damage so you put in a lot of work but you get results. and any karas player while sacrifice a jump in just to keep his man safe.
i agree with alex. games fun but not no where wat i expected. i got soo crushed. but ima still beast on it so dont relax just yet lol. i will be playing sak little bitch is broken.
