So Lemmy in the Bear Kart is probably the cutest fucking thing ever. Omg.
He can drift for days too. It’s wonderful

Seems the BitF creator is on the MK8 train too. Unsurprisingly. :3
“Upon watching this race, Larry Koopa suddenly got a brilliant idea…”
Wow…3 blue shells in 1 race? My races average at about 1 sighting and 2 at the most. Whenever the times I do score a Super Horn and I’m in first I’m literally waiting around wishing for the Blue Shell to appear.
3 Blue Shells is rare. I’ve only ever seen 1 in like every 10 races. Same with the Super Horn.
I have seen 2 blue shells in a race a few times. I am sure because I got hit by them while they were on the way to first place
I had one race a couple days ago and it felt like 80% of the people who hit the item boxes had a Super Horn at the start of the race. Shit was absolutely ridiculous.
does anyone know if there are any ps3/360 to wii u pad converters? Cos depending on how pokken plays (and if the system gets anymore fighters) I’m not really sure if I wanna drop £150 on another stick. Also does Tekken Tag 2 wii u still suffer from massive fps drops like on ps3?

It runs butter smooth, I’ve never had any frame-rate issues. Online works quite well too, even when I was playing wireless (though I use wired now).
Oddly enough though the menus are a bit choppy at times, but that’s about it.
So would you guys say your wii u is your primary gaming system right now? For me it is due to I play it the most and im pouring alot of time into it between Mario kart and xenoblade.
I got a bit bored of my ps3 due to realizing im almost done with my physical backlog and theres not much else I wanna buy on the system besides a few games maybe like 7.
I still play my old systems occasionally as well since I got big backlog from ps2 gen lol
My primary is actually my 3DS right now. Got so many games for it, it’s ridiculous. I have a PS4 (got Transistor recently), but I put way more time into my 3DS.
Excellent. I still play my ps3 daily. Mainly to play Bayonetta, Rising, or a fighter. But I gotta finish my physical collection so I can work through this downloaded games and ps plus stuff.
Once I land me a new job in definitely picking up a 3ds this summer. I wish I got one instead of the vita lol

Considering it’s the only console I own…yes. Well, aside from my 3DS of course. But I’ve pretty much 100%-ed my current 3DS library, outside of a Hero Mode run in ALBW and a Proud Mode run in Kingdom Hearts 3D, so I’ve been playing pretty much soley on my Wii U when I’m not practicing SF x TK.
Nothing on the other systems really interests me, 360/PS3 or One/PS4. Only thing in the future that I’d want on any of them is Kingdom Hearts 3, but I’m not a big enough fan of the series to buy a whole new console just for that one game. Unlike SF x TK, which I’ll have to get a 360 for to keep playing with GFWL shutting down (and the fact that it’s unlikely that they’ll be porting it to steam).
PS4, PS3, 3DS, Vita, Wii U, Xbox One (Garden Warfare, specifically) in that order.
My 360 and Wii have both been unplugged and removed from my entertainment center. The only thing that boosted Wii U up from the very bottom for me is the release of Mario Kart 8.
Wii U and Vita could possibly switch place, unless you consider the Vita’s remote play functionality as Vita playtime (I personally don’t, since I’m actually playing PS4 via Vita).

I don’t really have a main system. I simply play games on whatever platform they’re on. Recently, I’ve been playing PC games, but with MK8 and Wind Waker, I may play that more. Then, there’s still my 3DS where I want to wrap up Bravely Default and Fire Emblem.
Regarding blue shells, the most I’ve seen in a match is 3 which has happened 2-3 times. Most of the time it’s 0-1 shells per match. Thankfully. I hate blue shells and the super horn doesn’t show up often enough to combat them consistently.
My main home console fluctuates depending upon what’s out. I used to be on my 360 the most until probably about a half year or so after Gears 3. It’s mostly my Street Fighting system right now since I own my T.E. stick for it. Then I shifted more to my PS3 when I got it and now it’s been mostly Wii U with 360 in between. The only system that’s really been the most consistent with me has been my 3DS which I have on me at pretty much all times.
I seriously need a 3ds. Also im having a shitty run in MK right now. Like all it takes is one shell to hit me to knock me into the abyss lol.
I tried making a kart set up but I just prefer the bikes. But its really is risky biking especially on a track where people are constantly bumping people off lol.
Ughhh
Wii U and PS3 for me, but the PS3 is mostly used to fight streets and run Netflix/HBO Go, and for Blurays. Since I won’t be getting Ultra until August, this will be the Summer of Mario Kart for me.
Oh yeah, I also use my 3DS a lot, especially for gaming in bed.
I need to start getting the final life outta my ds before I move on from it. My ps3 may end up being more balanced in use. Since im gonna try to juggle itm and my ds is about to get new life since I got some rogs and megamans to play through

Yeah, it’s weird. In prior MK games, I never got the feeling that a come from behind win was near impossible. Yet, in this game, once you get driven back out of the top rankings, it feels like it’s fairly unlikely to ever make it back. I wonder why. Maybe the game doesn’t give you the great items as often.
From my own experience in the abyss, the item spread didn’t seem much better than when I was in 3rd-5th place. The big difference being that while a single green shell protecting your back is fine when you’re in the front of the pack, trying to plow through the middle and last group of people with one shell is a huge pain.
Now that I think about it, perhaps this issue is due to only having one item at a time. Before, you could stockpile a couple items to protect you (in past games I’d try to keep triple shells ready). However, now you may go for a long time without an item. As a consequence, you might be more likely to get hit while trying to come back from 8th place or below. The reason behind this is that your single item is taken out early by another player leaving you completely open to other players when you try to pass them. When I look back at my past few come from behind wins, they occurred when I passed multiple players in one move.
Ok fuck trying to wait for a MK bunduru. I bought a much cheaper skylanders bundle and will add on MK8
