Ii had a shitty run today. After playing with Sonic and Josh I went to play with randoms. I was getting hit witg every piece of bs possible that could happen. And once you are in low place you really cant recover lol
And im thinking of making a new car set up along with my bike. Since im on bike like a dudes will bump me to knock me off course since its a light vehicle

Oooohhhh. That’s why I can still get knocked around on a bike. Maybe I’ll try a few set ups as well. It feels like I don’t really see anyone else using bikes and I’m betting it’s for a reason. Also need to unlock the rest of the stuff.
I find it interesting that karts seem to have made a comeback in this game (compared to MK Wii, never played MK7)
GGs Sonic, Drelly and JGreen. Had too many disconnects. Xena was pretty much my rival because she also used Toad, lol.
I think I like the coupe. I’ll probably use that more until I find a faster bike.
Had a few disconnects, got annoying after a while. Tried joining Sonic’s game a few times but the room was full.
I’ve never liked bikes for some reason. I like the gold fashioned kart. I also tend to pick tires that don’t have that much grip to the road…I feel like I can control my powerslides better and make them longer that way. I’m currently using the Cyber Slick tires.
I usually just pick standard bike with roller wheels which works perfect for me. I tried a diff bike for one race and it can’t turn or drift for shit unless you literally slow down to turn or do a wide turn.
Which is a no go for me because Mario Kart is meant to be played like Initial D!!!

Right now I’m using the jet bike with the slicks. The main thing that I’ve found annoying with it is that my bike really slows down while drifting. When that’s paired with Rosalina who doesn’t have the best acceleration, it can hurt quite a bit. It also swings out a bit much. That said, all of this may be me getting used to the game.
I use whatever gives me good drift with Roy. I’ve won every cup with Roy or Rosalina.

Haha, yeah I kept getting shit on during that race, but a lot of it was on me. So it goes with Mario Kart. When I get back home this weekend I’ll be able to spend some more time learning the courses. Better watch your back!
I nabbed my copy of MK8 after going to multiple stores. Don’t know why I didn’t think to try the GameStop down the street from my apartment first. Not only did I get MK8, but I also got a complete copy of the Metroid Prime Trilogy for less than $50. Score!

I think I took 2 or 3 Blue Shell hits and at the very end of the race, the thing FINALLY hits someone else. Talk about bad timing. I just had to upload the highlights vid.
