just to let people know there are classes in terms of mechs or giant robots…there is 2 normally but there are exceptions that are borderline…

Real Robot: Like RX-78(original Gundam), Nightmare units(Code Geass), Jehuty(Zone of the Enders), Altessen(SRW OG), The Big O(Big-O), Valkire( Macross).

Super Robot: God Gundam(G-Gundam), GaoGaiGar(GaoGaiGar), Gurren Lagann(Gurren Langann), Gravion(Gravion). Notice how Super robots are named after their show~

Borderline: Evanglion’s(Neon Genesis Evanglion), Getter Robot(Getter robot), Aquarion(Aquarion).

Aquarion was solid as hell. In terms of Gundams, as series I thought Gundam Wing was epicticious due to a Gundam being established as an unstoppable force. If you saw one, that was your ass. Not saying that other mecha did things that were better (hell the Solar Aquarion was GODLIKE. . . . literally) don’t really see any of the other series having that level of respect for the mecha in regards to facing them combat.

G Gundam will still be one of my favorites though. Domon’s rage modes, the tech behind how the Gundams work (mo-cap FTW lol), the level of combat within the show, the actual dub (which I find that the dubbed Domon works better than the JP Domon), and its overall zaniness actually have me pick the series up every once in a while.

I liked the April fools they did on a Witch Hunter Robin episode. I recall them placing some hat and villain mustache on a crow for a like a split second. I lol’d hard.

She is the one named Sailor Moon. I still remember the opening somewhat randomly whenever I see the goddamn moon.

My parents used to give me hell back in the good ol’ channel 9/13 days because I enjoyed watching Sailor Moon. The opening was the business, plus there was this girl that I had a crush on at school named Arianna that reminded me of Serena, but with long brown hair. She was crushing on me too, but I never acted on it, smdh…

DBZ wise, all I want is the Ocean Dub Group voices/music. That’s what I grew up with watching it on Saturday mornings on Channel 9, with the homie Scott McNeil as Piccolo (“There will be no help…”), that Drummond cat as Vegeta (the next dimension! lol!), and whoever had Jeice sounding like an Australian rocker needs to be there as well. I was so heartbroken when they switched the voices up when Goku started fighting the Ginyu Force. Both McNeil and Drummond were perfect for their characters imo.

Also, we need the man Joe Boyd Vigil to grace us with the tracks once again, as well as getting Deep Space Bass Vol. 2 crackin’. I have the Deep Space Bass album, as well as the Black Hole Megamix and Rare Restored Recut albums.

Damn, thinking about this shit is going to make me pull out my vhs tape of the Midnight Run where they played all of the videos as well as some of Daft Punk’s and the Gorillaz.

yeah it showed intersella 555…I loved that OVA…really good stuff…the same artist did amazing anime and created a very popular(at its time) genre called space opera. The anime that was know for this was Captin Hardlock, and its many spin offs including my favorite…Queen Emeraldas.

I bought the DVD from Amoeba in Hollywood, and watched the entire thing from start to finish. Discovery is one the only albums that I can listen to straight through from start to finish with no problem, along with Slum Village’s Fantastic Vol. 2
