However from what I’m seeing, this seems to be happening against Toonami’s own will. There’s apparently some kind of legal situation going on that forced them to remove it.

Ultimately though I think it’s for the best. As long as Toonami is just a Saturday thing, long runners just aren’t really feasible. If Shippuden weren’t so damn cheap it wouldn’t surprise me to see it canceled as well.

Toei apparently wanted OP on primetime (we’re talking 8 PM) and there was no way in hell AS was pulling that off well.
