Yeah I know, I’m just saying shit should really be planned out so you can get the most viewers for your buck or whatever.

Preferably we would just air Toonami sooner (hell, I’d be up for getting rid of the entire comedy block on Saturday anyway). But for now, we should go on the assumption that we can’t.

Nope, or if they do, it isn’t worth airing. It looks to be standard [as] programming that makes you rethink what you are doing with your life(mainly why you watch [as]) We need another Toonami movie night, and I’ve been pushing for Friday for a while.

same as last week. if 9/2 is the same, it will be safe to assume the ratings will stay like this until casshern or gits is replaced. if the ratings still stay like when they get a new acquisition, AND, it fails to get number 1 in the 18-34 y/o male audience then get ready for fallout.

Toonami is “muffed” if the numbers for Bleach premiers @12:00am, fall under 600k.

The worst part of the situation is that we have no indication of how well Toonami is doing with the 18-34 year old male crowd. In the first 12 weeks, Deadman earned #1 with the 18-34 y/o crowd in its time slot. Really good. But it’s obvious that Sam 7 and E7 aren’t pulling their own weight around here.

oh, and if it’s news to anyone, Bandai is ending the physical distribution of their products come March 2013. They’ll only focus on digital distribution and pitching their shows to television networks based on some older titles. Things will pick back up if one classic show comes back.

…Sounds like they need to rerun DW. Not sure if something new or some classic shows will help, but let’s face it. GITS needs to GTFO, and this is coming from a GITS fanboy. Unless they make a third season, I just can’t see leaving it here anymore. However, if they replace it with something worse…Well…

I’m still in favor of Black Lagoon. I think that would REALLY help out Toonami, and it’s longer than DW too so they can hold on to it. And Hellsing as well.

Hellsing is always fun. I’ll vouch for it. Black Lagoon also would be great for the block.

We need something special to help generate some interest, maybe some official merchandise that will help rep the block? I’ve got the Toonami Aftermath #BringBackToonami shirt, but it doesn’t inform of the return and it certainly isn’t official(directs people to Toonami Aftermath, which won’t help ratings).
