The journey of them finally hooking up was a painful one. I hated how the final episodes had them stranded in an island with Eureka’s bratty orphan kids. Those kids made those episodes feel like torture. It would have been some much better if they weren’t around

I mean yeah thy were bratty and went out fo their way to annoy Renton but that was because some random dude who seemed kind of useless and annoying was creeping on their mother. When they saw how much Eureka loved Renton and how much he loved her and how far he was willign to go they really saw him as papa. once again one of those things that made the show adn the payoff great.[/details]

bleach: super bleach fighting! meaning even when stuff is happening it feels like not much has actually happened
samurai7: super fighting samurai robots! more characters and more action!
casshern: super fighting sad robots! i think there was more story in there somewhere.
eureka7: super fighting rainbow robots! yeah. everyone likes rainbows.
fma: super fighting armstrongs! a few cool scenes in this episode.
gits: super investigating robots! and the laughing man shows up. he’s cool.

Ogee looks like he’s gonna fall over any second. Granted he doesn’t look nearly as bad as the other ruining robos, but you just know he probably won’t make it to the series’ end. That super speed DBZ style fight between Cashern and Dio was dope. Lyuze getting sweet on Casshern? She’s probably the santest fembot we’ve seen on the show so she’ll have to stick around for a while. And Luna? Innnnnnteresting.

Well, that would be great, but the VA for Aku is dead, so you’d need a series reboot, or a remarkably similar voice. It is hard to forget Makoto’s voice, it’s quite memorable.

I liked the solo episodes, the Major wearing pants most of the time and the main villain in 2nd Gig more then I did the first season but Laughing Man did have a much better climax and was a more interesting and less preachy overall story arc.

MEGAS NEEDS A COMEBACK!! But I want both if possible.

Also, do you all think playing movies would boost ratings? Like, there’s that FMA Brotherhood movie out, isn’t there? They could maybe show that when Brotherhood finishes it’s run again. Maybe they could also dub the Gurren Lagaan movies (they weren’t dubbed, were they?) and show those too. It wouldn’t be a frequent thing, maybe once a month or two, but still, wouldn’t mind that.

that really seems to cover it. 2nd gig had better characters but the 1st season was a better story.

Adult Swim used to air movies before. They aired Read or Die OVAs, Inuyasha movies and Metropolis from what I can remember. They use to air it at final week of the every month. The movies should be on the pre-midnight slot. Fuck the comedy shows.

Yeah I know, I’m just saying shit should really be planned out so you can get the most viewers for your buck or whatever.

Preferably we would just air Toonami sooner (hell, I’d be up for getting rid of the entire comedy block on Saturday anyway). But for now, we should go on the assumption that we can’t.
