Well, if it’s any consolation, it’s certainly better than the German Vampire arc thing.
Either way, I don’t care about the Bleach anime, because it has really tanked. I’m happy it was canned in Japan, the canon itself is decent, but the filler is the worst I’ve ever seen(although I will admit, I did enjoy the Karakura Rizer episodes…)
Is casshern finally gonna get a plot now? These 10 eps were dragged on because they wanted a 26 ep anime right? But, if they had not dragged it on with pointless episodes, perhaps it be a half season anyway. Shows like casshern get 26 episodes when Angel beats deserved it a lot more, as well as kids on a slope.
Casshern Sins introduced the basic plot of what was going on a few episodes in. I would not call them “pointless” since every episode seemed to show the adverse effect of the Ruin happening to many characters that Casshern meets in his travels with some deep philosophy mixed in.
With that being said, Casshern Sins is not a show for average joe viewer. DW is better for average Joe since its more fast-paced and less complicated. Even though I prefer Casshern as the better show in terms of quality, I know DW appeals to the bigger piece of the pie
Blame Executive Meddling for Angel Beats! and Kids on a Slope had only 7 volumes
Casherns pacing is horrble though. Even though it is pretty good, and sets a good premise. There are only so many episodes you can make that shows the bad effects of the ruin. Because if it takes you that long to introduce an actual plot, than that is just plain bad writing. The show could have been much more interesting of by like episode 4 he decides to do something. Wasting an entire half a season on setting the premise is bad no matter how you look at it.
Fucking right, if AB had the number of episodes planned, the ending wouldn’t have been such a convoluted mess. The “wait, what?” moment could have had a set up and explanation. Jun Maeda is supposed to be working on a VN though, would like to see how it goes, though I’m hearing that things are supposed to change such as Iwasawa not moving on.
