No spoilers but…is it on rave master level?
no its worse!
If toonami chooses to give a movie just go ahead and give the Cowboy Beebop movie.
Sent from Hueco Mundo using Garganta Talk.
Wonder what shows they said are being developed to be put on AS Action, or toonami for now.
meh if i had to think of recent movies then go for the the *Gintama movie *that barely got released dubbed. It fits the shonen feel and covers a serious arc in the series and based on how its paced out you don’t need to have watched the series to know whats going on. Also has quite a bit of violence/action/profanity to fit adult swim
What? No. Play Redline.
Great news Ratings went up for week 2 on June 2nd
Nice little jump up. Bleach and Deadman beat Metal and the whole 12-3am block beat Eric andre.
I can see week 3 improving a bit more now since the word-of-mouth has been spreading that the Toonami block is back

So yeah, now we know why DeMarco was happy. Hopefully he’ll still be smiling this week despite stiff competition from The Heat vs. Celtics and Pac-Man vs. Bradley.
got to clean up this mess…
These are good signs. I hope the fans keep it up and spread the word more.
Give it up bitches. Toonami IS that good. Once it gets more new (or old?) shows and moves out some of the old stuff, well, Super moves hurt worse than their normal powered counterparts. I imagine some other TV stations are gonna feel it and soon.
-Starhammer-
Actually hoping for more new stuff.
Holy shit, they did so good that at three AM it was passed 800,000. Shit is gonna get one piece soon!! I can feel it. All they need to do is somehow shorten the first 126 eps into something WAAY shorter like 40-50. Skypia arc and CP9 arc are where shit gets REAL good. It has really good plot telling devices that may make it the new generation of toonamis money maker. The first being DBZ and the second being naruto (no lie, i watched some of the old eps, not half as bad as i thought. Easily superior to fillerpuden with its overly realistic animations,)
How long will this have to keep up for new timeslot and new shows? New shows i’d imagine till fall. New timeslot, next year fall.
I wholeheartedly agree. Here’s hoping that Bebop and Gits are just temporary place holders for something huge, and that Adult Swim finally begins to use the back half of the block for more shows.
I understand that Williams Street is about being cheap and ratings whores, but come on. Please give me a reason to turn on the tv.
Does [as] still have the broadcast rights for Moribito? I honestly can’t even remember if they ever finished airing that show. They pulled it off the air half way into the series. If they can still broadcast it then they should put it on Toonami. It hasn’t been rerun as far as I know.
Out of curiosity, I wonder how much they have to censor? They seem to bleep out “shit” and “fuck”, but what other words and what about violence? I’m asking because I’d love to see Hellsing Ultimate (not the original plot hole ridden but still awesome anime series) and Black Lagoon, but the former is bloody and violent as hell and the latter isn’t complete without dropping 50 vulgar words per episode minimum.
Honestly you have to try really hard to get violence censored on American television, much more so for animated violence. I don’t think the Hellsing OVA would have much trouble airing. Black Lagoon would probably have some trouble airing because of some of the stuff in it (mostly to do with sexual content.)
I’m not sure how censorship with words works though. I think the network may do it voluntarily, because as far as I know, they’re technically allowed to air “shit” without getting fined (because the FCC gives control regarding verbal censorship to the cable networks? Or something.)
I didn’t even get to see how that one ends. I actually got into it pretty fast and liked how it was going.
Could happen. they finally got rid of Inuyasha. Coulda left Kekkaishi on though. I really do hope the block gets extended either forward or back (or both) a few hours. I think as long as the viewing audience shows support, we’ll get (More of) what we want soon.
-Starhammer-
Well if they could get Hellsing Ultimate, I’d love it if they could debut the new dubbed episodes on toonami similar to how deadman wonderland’s English dub debuted on toonami. And if black lagoon could make it, I’d love it if they did the same for roberta’s trail.
FMA is kinda lower than what I expected, almost on par with SAC who is just a filler timeslot at this point. Or, maybe I’m giving SAC too little credit here, I dunno. I hope the views continue to remain consistenly high at any rate.
We might be getting a classic style ToM speech on the concept of FEAR during the next Toonami ^-^ Rumors were spreading about it on twitter afterwards
For those not familiar with this, ToM 1 used to make a bunch of speeches over these topics

-Courage
-Brains vs. Brawn
-Individuality

They’re definitely trying to do something new every week. I like that.
