a few people talked to me about judo this weekend, alot of people dont know or have a huge misunderstanding of it. my manager at my retail job was mentioning how she was surprised. she had never seen judo before and thought it was alot more fighting…like mma lite apparently. such a weird statement to me, ive known what judo was since i was 6, its weird to hear someone older than me not know.

i always heard judo was more popular than kung fu before karate took over. it was far more mainstream accepted to my knowledge. it might be the fact its has had a major falling out in the past 2-3 decades in the public eye. but i know most military and politicians took judo pre-80’s.

I think someone mentioned it in this very thread (too lazy to simply look up or back a page at the moment)… if female basketball players had the same or similar outfit as women’s indoor volleyball, people(guys) might actually care about women’s basketball. Most female basketball players that I’ve seen look terrible though.
