Worked on Felicia’s hair and tail. It was pretty tough. Then moved Felicia. Is there anything else i should do to it?

Lastly, how would one go about compressing the file on winzip. I downloaded a free version, and when i try to open the .psd or .gif file is says its not a valid archive thank you=)

Managed to finish the Dudley/Wesker SE stick template:

I like the effect on the gloves and the b/w treatment. It’s a great start.

A few things I can think of though. The SSFIV & MvC3 logo is pushed too corners too much. There should be a margin of space between them and the outer edges. The MvC3 logo has a black box behind it. Try to find a transparent PNG to use instead. Maybe better blend the images together.

This is what I did to my art for the time i had during the day(Chun li took forever to erase the background, had to trace it by hand, magic wand wasn’t working with that background. Is there a faster way? because i was tracing around here with a 3 pixel brush loll.). I got the Felicia pic from another website, and it seems to be much better quality. I know u guys said the little pic of chun isn’t really chun li. But I haven’t found a good pic of her to put on there yet, ill keep looking. But here is another rough draft, if you guys can give me more criticism or pointers?

I agree with earlier comments on felicias hair. The needs to be fixed. I would place felilcia on the left. Morrigan in the middle and Chun Li to the right.

Here is Capcom stick im woken on. My friend Migs3242 posted on here that looks has the same consent and let me tell you his looks awesome. On this one i went with a more Pixel look, its not 100% complete still got to work on some empty spots but this is the jist of what its gonna look like

[@CDB: This needs some work. For one Wesker is covered by buttons and Dudley by a stick. Two, both of the logos are cut off and one still has it’s background (Make it transparent). Three, Dudley is desaturated except a few parts, and Wesker is in color (kinda).

As I said before, I have never touched photoshop before. I can fix the logos but had tried to adjust both pics to prevent Dudley and Wesker’s faces from being covered up but I couldn’t do it. I’m going to try again tommrow,and play around with it.

Taking your idea and evolving it. I didn’t like the original wesker image so I choose the new MvC3 image. I tried to keep that same treatment on the B&W characters. Each character has something in the background that relates to them.

THannks Kal, That is my fist shot at a chibi style street fighter character. I’m working on a blanka one as well but it still hasn’t hit a point that I’m happy with.

I have another question now, it appears the images they have for Noel are only ~500x~700. I still feel like that’s too small. Does anyone know where I can get anything bigger?

Ha, same here. I’ve entered in a couple SOTWs way back when I used to do some graphic/web design stuff. I haven’t really done anything graphics wise for a couple years though. I only posted to buy graphic tuts iirc.

If you’re taking it somewhere to be printed, dont compress it. Just save it as .PDF from photoshop. A .gif would lose it’s quality and color.

Im sending it to tek-innovations, because I am buying my plexi there too. He says it needs to be compressed to send it to him. I figured out how to do it, i ziped the .psd file. For future reference, to get just printing down from him will cost 17.50 with shipping. How much would it cost on average for the material and printing if i would do it myself.

when i go to staples it it costs 2 bucks for the 11x17 sheet of paper and the print job. Sometimes i laminate and then the total is 5 bucks.
