The Official Street Fighter IV TE/SE Fighstick Template Thread

awesome thanks.

My changes wouldn’t be very drastic, I like a stream lined look so I’d remove a few things, but overall it would look the same. I’ll post it when I’m done.

Out of curiosity, where did you get the source images?

what are you guys using for the brush stroke effects around the buttons?
any premade psd layers up for dl?
Thanks

They are brushes for Photoshop/Gimp. You can download them here

can anyone point me in the right direction for a vewlix template (the red/white one) for the TE, all I can find is a SE and HRAP version.

ok this is from art i did a couple pages back. Someone want this on an TE stick. I was able to make the template, but this is what it would look like.

question. someone said the buttons on the official template are 20pixels to big and you will get a border around your buttons, is this true? are the other cutouts correct turbo, screw holes…

Not having actually cut a template myself, I can only make an assessment based on pics I’ve seen.

I don’t think that any of the template holes are too big, but if you leave in the guides filled white and visible when you print, then if you don’t line them up perfect when installing, you will get a ring/crescent/halo of white around each component.

PM’d you about my Chun-Li and Mai Shiranui Template.
if email doesn’t work, try some file sharing sites like 4shared, rapidshare, or megaupload :]

The reason you guys are getting holes on your template is that you’re not turning off the “cut areas” layer in photoshop, assuming you guys are all working with PSD files. Just make sure that those layers and the other layers are turned off as well. That way you’d get a “full bleed” print and don’t have to worry about extra white areas.

then you have to mount, trace, cut the holes and hope it doesnt move. that sounds 10x harder. and a lot easier to mess up.

Hey guys! lurker here.

So i went to get a template printed and lamilabeled for my SE, but i noticed the picture was actually a little bit smaller than the stick, so i was wondering, what do i need to tell them to print the picture out to fit the plate?

Not really, trace it with a pencil (and then erasing it afterwards) would take about a minute and then cutting it out… well you’re going to have to do that anyway.

Well the only layer I’m planning on leaving on is the “white area” aka border to use as a cut reference. Then cut BEFORE lamilabeling, get it lamilabeled, cut off the excess lamilabel, then I’m going to do a wet application. Once it’s dry from the backside of the plate cut out the holes.
It’s not exactly a walk in the park but still relatively easy.

Lol ; found a link around google :]
Thanks anyway

That’s better, I must say thats great for a first attempt. The artwork is high-res and the background goes nicely with it.
