nope $100ish a month is too much. Life here is too expensive. (the curse of an island) I think basically having the same speeds as the US for the same prices seems reasonable enough.
I will tell you what’s up with the internet situation down here. Some ISP offers great Speeds but have very shitty latency. Or we have lower speeds but better latency. And unfortunately the best ISPs are not in my area so I have to settle for the shitty speeds but at least I have good latency. The fastest ISP on the country is a satellite internet company. The offer a 100 down/ 50 up plan…but its satellite its worthless for gaming. Latency is ass.
So yeah we need a fiber optic ISP asap. If Verizon were to settle here I bet some other ISP would down like the Berlin Wall.
So I waited for like 10 minutes for a match on XBL only to be paired up to fight a fucking A Rank Zangief.
I lost and I flipped tables, I feel you Songi. Fuck Zangief. And it seems nobody is playing now. NOBODY NOT EVEN ENDLESS -__- I keep getting paired up with that guy and I am avoiding him. He msged me if i am scared…and I procedded to send him some hateful profanity…u know cause Zangief players in this game are not people. They are demons.
It’s on Xbox. I just dislike the fact that a fucking grappler like Gief benefits from chains way too much. there’s a reason in the past Gief had some difficult tight links. Just so not any idiot can pick up Gief and mix you up to death with combos and spd setups mindlessly.
Also I am infuriated that I drop down the 10k mark thanks to this fucking asshole let me repeat this clearly FUCKING ASSHOLE and I have been waiting approximately 40 minutes for another match. I am not going to sleep until I get my 10k back.

Lol! I hope it’s not that same A+ Zangief dude on XBL I kept getting paired up to fight against. I forgot his name but he usually is boosting a partner which is kinda stupid in my opinion. Why boost someone to B+ or A Rank just so they can get slaughtered by more skilled players because they didn’t earn their way to the rank they’re at.
Looks like a lot of people here are having that “off week.” It will blow over in time and you might even come out as a better player for it. All that losing builds up skill and it helps you grow as a player. I know all too well about it, I spent the first 5 months of this game losing more than winning.
If I was on XBL I would go off and slaughter all Giefs constantly just to get them to drop the character. Nothing more embarrassing for Gief than to be beaten at his own game of “close combat.”
Sounds pretty bad…honestly didn’t even think west coast had bad internet but damn. They need to get hot on getting that shit up to standards. I’m just gonna guess the density of people in the area really screws them over. I mean I’m in a rural area in central FL and I my connection is top notch.

Give his command grabs the same distance and speed as Hugo’s, make his Superart a strike (it’s BS that he’s the only one with a grabsuper art) and do something about his godlike lariat. Give him a bigger hurtbox on his head please.
Damn, well in comparison I think I have a stable connection it seems…its not top notch but its stable so I will give you the right to complain. I thought everyone in the US was on 25 to 50 mb with like 20 ish ping. Man, I do feel you on your connection rant. Why does the western world suck so much in that aspect? I think investing on a good router sounds like a band aid patch to your situation. But if it is your ISP being shitty then I don’t know…and here I thought I had a shitty ISP.
No It was a single player. I think what made me upset about this guy was the fact that he was using Gief. lol And I kept getting paired with him. And there was literally nobody playing SFxT at that time. Usually at any time of the day when I am playing AE at least there’s like a minimum of 5 endless lobbies going on. So I had to wait almost an hour to find somebody else. At least I got my points quickly enough to go to sleep afterwards. Yeah Zangief is hella stupid at least for me. I began to understand why some players like Combofiend kept saying that character makes this game not fun especially for Tekken characters.
If the person you reffering to actually is helping people boost their ranks let him…I want to get easy wins off fraudulent A ranked players. hahaha
Actually this has worked for me in Street Fighter IV. Since that game is so full of stupid stuff I try to not burn myself playing it. However, since I am still learning SFxT I feel that can affect me…or maybe not? I don’t know…but I feel you.
Yeah its off week on SFxT. I think besides me there’s a few people experiencing that salt. So I am guessing it has something to do with the planetary alignment lol. So I will relax and just chalk it up to a bad week. I just don’t want that bad period to extend that much. You need to save us from the Zangief evildoers. I need your help master.
LOL She can be really annoying in the hands of a player who knows how to space themselves properly. Her long reaching normals and her ability to mash out 3 frame normals on wake-up, conventional means of keeping the opponent locked down doesn’t really apply to her. Kinda like Cody but with more mobility.
Because you don’t launcher her on wake up or when you go for a tick throw? I’ve never met a Chun who didn’t mash crouch tech, even after I launched them consistently. Her ground game is strong though.

West coast internet is probably the best in the country. unfortunately, that’s like saying it’s the least smelly turd. internet in the country is complete ass compared to where it should be
what you propose makes gief completely obsolete. That’s like saying take away i frames on Flash kick and increase the recovery on his sonic booms
Gief’s command grab is 5 frames at best. It’s not invincible so it can easily get beat by anything on startup. On top of that same 5 frame command grab has 52 frames of recovery. It’s a HUGE risk. if you nerf that to Hugo’s grab range you essentially have a character that can not get in at all. Gief struggles against neutral jumpers outside command grab range. if you nerf lariat gief now struggles against all jumpers at any range. Oh and by the way… that godlike lariat only hits in in the front.
Gief has slow walk speed, slow air attacks, slow ground attacks, slow grabs, so basically all you have to do to beat gief currently is get a quick life lead and run away. And in the event that he gets in on you, half his shit is so slow that you’re gonna just straight up beat him out of half his shit. As long as you dont do anything stupid you shouldnt generally get SPD’d. The only thing wrong with gief is how people keep trying to play against him. If you do stupid shit, you’re gonna get beat. If you play smart, you wont.
If you hate gief in this game you’d think he’s broken in SF4 cause Lariat is even better (hits both sides), combo potential is much better, EX green hand actually is invincible, and SPD grab range is even bigger.
I need an incentive in order to see my progress even if it is stupid online ranking. I know it doesn’t mean much but its still something to shoot for. Besides I really hate waiting on endless lobbies or getting kicked out because of my rank. So I spent a great deal on ranked because of this.
I’m pretty much the same way. I hate waiting in endless lobbies and usually everyone will leave if I join. I got 2 accounts but my other account is a B+ so it really doesn’t change much. Oh well, just glad I get invites to endless lobbies daily from the good people here so I never have to waste my time doing random endless with total strangers.
