Fireball zoning all day as Hei has the second slowest walk speed in the game, or knock him down once and spend the rest of the round going for meaty cross up attempts delivered at short range. Heihachi has no real answer to either of these.
I guess I need to pick a fireball character then…
My problem isn’t his mixups (I know what to do) or mixing him up. My problem is that his f. lp, mp will catch anything and everything. Heihachi players just mindlessly do that shit :mad:

Nina, Kazuya. I know his toward lp is -3 and his next followup is at best 13 frames so I’m not worried about on block ;).
Not sure how you deal with random toward lp though o_O (I mean other than block and punish).
I’m not sure if this will help ( I just found this out yesterday lol ), but. If you see him doing that forward X Y move you can either do a standing light attack to push him back. Or go for a low kick and launch him most heihachi’s never block low after they use that move. Then if he starts spamming that parry shenanigans just neutral jump and cross him up till he’s blue in the face. For some reason when you neutral jump and he does a parry your attack coming down ignores the parry. Then this forces him to start back dashing and when heihachi isn’t on top of you he cant do anything so you can throw fireballs down his throat lol.
I have a really hard time with footsies in this game. I get hit with so many ABCC combos off of just random hits it’s embarrassing.

My problem is how that random toward lp will juggle you in random situations and the overhead will connect and ground bounce anyway. It also seems to have a good bit of priority as well. It’s pretty hit confirm-able (for decent Hei players lol).
You sound more advanced than me I really don’t know frame data and things like that. But I do know what gets you killed fast, and that’s trying to spam something out in the middle of a tekken target combo while blocking. You should relax and just wait till an opening and you’ll stop randomly getting hit =]. Street fighters are a different story if you see people doing stuff you know doesn’t link just manually launch them for a free combo lol.
Who do u play? And training mode is where its at to practice whiff punishing and figuring out certain pokes ranges
Raven/Hwoarang, and its more of a issue because I need to realize that normals that would normally let me poke can be chained to be turned into very tight frame traps. Then its just a matter of the other guy mashing out the launch. Meanwhile I’m sitting over here stupidly trying to use ONLY links because my brain says I don’t want the damage to scale lol.
I kinda’ feel you there, I actually learned this game’s system backwards lol, I would ONLY tag cancel at first and never use launcher or ABC. XD Now I’m starting to understand their uses and work with it a bit better.
What really pisses me off is the amount of people who think they know how to fix/design fighting games. Two things;
You don’t know how to ‘fix’ SFxT. Secondly, you don’t know how to fix SFxT.

Man, having to buckle down and at least attempt to learn how to play this game (or in my case, fighting games in general) is one thing. But having reverse hatemail from superior players who do nothing but teabag and taunt, is another. I don’t get mad and try to keep focused (I do kick them after the match though), but it’s still pretty demoralizing.
Well hwos st.mp is deceptivly long, its a pixel longer than ryu’s low fwd but is 7 frames but u could chain it to st.fp and it will bee safe against moost the cast. His st.lk is a good counter poke if u think someones gonna throw out a poke and either there a little too far or u nknow ur move would startup before there’s then throw it out buffered with st.mp, st.fp and its 5 frames so if ur getteing launched cuz ur using cr.lp then start ur blockstring of with this instead. And iam a little confussed cuz hwo doesn’t really have blockstrings that are linked unless u use st.lp. also his sweep can whiff punish a lot of moves in the game and can be cancled into either l.hh or heel/cadc.
With raven the best strategy I saw was throw kunais and when they try to rush in low fwd into either cadc or kunai. His low fwd has good raange and could lead to big dmg if u catch them blocking high. Most the time people will not be blocking low if u get them frustrated enough or sometimes they’re just so busy trying to get pass ur kunais that they won’t be blocking low. And what links do u get launched out of? Btw IMO ur team would work better the opposite way around cuz hwos footsies are better and his aa’s are better and he can open people up with his speed and OH’s then u can sit on lead with ravens runaway, just imo
Got two “The battle has been canceled” today while playing endless. One came when i was just about to finish off another player…smh
I don’t have the time or patience to get good at this game so fuck it i quit.
